The atmosphere in the hotel room was thick with tension, a silence that felt like it was holding its breath. Ina could feel her pulse racing as she replayed the events at the exhibition hall. That mysterious man, his unsettling knowledge of their codenames, and the way he vanished into thin air—it all left her on edge.
Cassian was standing near the window, one hand resting on the curtains as he looked out at the city lights, lost in thought. The silence between them hung heavy until suddenly, the shrill buzz of Cassian’s phone shattered it. He glanced at the screen, and his eyes went wide.

“Twilight’s known for hiring the best—the most talented, most dangerous agents he can find. He trains them personally, builds them into something… unstoppable. If that guy was good enough to follow us without being detected, he’s close to Twilight. No doubt about it.”
Ina crossed her arms, deep in thought, the pieces starting to click into place. But something still felt off. Why had Twilight’s team been tracking them in the first place? Was it just a coincidence… or was it something more?
