Prologue

Have you ever regretted something?

Have you ever wished that you could change the past?

Have you ever wanted for a different scenario to happen instead?

Well, I'm sure mostly everybody answered 'yes' to the three previous questions. No surprise there.

I sigh.

I never regretted meeting her. I never wished for her to ignore me. I never wanted our relationship to drift apart.

So where did it all go wrong?

My wheels inside my head are going to break just to answer that question.

But seriously, I don't know where it all went wrong! Someone help me with my cri—oh! I could start from the beginning.

Ahem!

Let's remember the past, shall we? From the first time that I saw her......

Freya's POV

Today's the first day of school. I'm a 6th grader now! I'm walking to school, and really excited to see old faces again!

I wonder how my friends have been doing? Are we even in the same school still? Okay. I'm getting worried.

I searched around with my eyes, scanning my surrounding for specific people who are none other than my friends.

I was starting to panic a little. My thoughts are racing like cazy! But then I finally saw them. Whew! What a relief!

And with a big smile, I ran to them and hugged them like there's no tomorrow.

"So you're still going to this school!" said my friend, Mae, excitedly.

Mae has shoulder length hair. I'm still not sure whether her hair is black or a very dark brown.

"Yes! What choice do I have anyway? You know my parents won't allow me to just go to any school." I said.

"Aaaaahhhh! I'm just so happy you're here!" shouted May, while hugging me for one last time. "Let's go check the classroom! The others are already there!"

May has waist length hair. And I'm very sure it's black.

And May dragged me to the classroom with Mae following close behind.

"Hey! Slow down May! And you guys wait for me!"

She's clearly irritated.

May looked back. Gave her a glance. "Then hurry up."

Mae gasped. "Why you—"

And they're arguing. Again.

"Guys.....hey, calm down." I was waving my hands.

"And what about that one time, huh?" From Mae.

"Oh? And what about it? Have you also forgotten about that one time?" From May.

Oh boy. "Guys! Let's check out the classroom!"

They glared at each other one last time. And I didn't even know what they were fighting about.

"Be greatfull Freya's here." said Mae, trying to cool off.

"Hmph! Freya, let's go to the classroom!" May pulled my arm to the direction of our classroom.

I forgot she was linking arms with me.

We entered the classroom and greeted everyone I knew and was close with. I sat down on a chair.

I saw our classmates talk to a new girl. And wondered.......

"Who is she?"
