Chapter 5 : Horrible Morning

Sunlight streams through the window, illuminating the room. Mia and Tink are lying in bed, facing each other.

I started stirring, eyes barely open " Ugh... what time is it" I squint at my phone, which is buzzing incessantly

I yell for Tink " Tink! Wake up! The world isn’t going to save itself!"

Tink groans loudly, pulling the blanket over her head.

Tink replies from under her blanket "Five more minutes, Mia! I’m in a serious relationship with my bed right now!"

" Good morning, Tink."

Tink groans "Morning. I'm so tired. I think I dreamt I was chasing a giant waffle."

I laugh at her silly talk " A waffle? That's a weird dream."

Tink half wakes up "Stretches I know, right? I was running and running, but that waffle just kept getting farther away."

I Chuckle "Well, at least you had a tasty dream."

Tink nods" I guess. But now I'm starving"

I get out of bed" I'll make breakfast. "

"How about pancakes?"

Tink smiles "Pancakes? That sounds perfect. But I beg you don't burn them, please."

I feign offense " Hey! I'm a professional pancake maker.'' I say with my most innocent face but I know I am fooling no one. I can cook but I can't make good looking pancakes. my pancakes are just passable enough to eat and sustain.

Tink raises an eyebrow "Oh really? Well, I'm waiting with bated breath."

I stand up and take a big stretch " I'll be back in a jiffy."

As I head to the kitchen, Tink snuggles back into bed and closes her eyes. She can already taste the delicious pancakes that Mia is about to make.

AN HOUR LATER

I look at the time and the absence of her and know that she has fallen back asleep. I clear my throat and in my loudest voice "TINKERBELL DELUCA WAKE THE HECK OF THE BED WITHIN 5 MINUTES OTHERWISE I WILL NOT GIVE YOU,BREAKFAST "

In response, I hear some banging noise like someone falling and I hear ''I AM UP, I AM UP "

After a few minutes I look and see her running down the stairs like she has the devil on her heels.

It's so damn funny that I started to crack up as she reached the table.

She looked at me and said what

Nothing still wasn't even able to stop my laughter

As she has worn every article of clothing either backwards or in the wrong way.

I controlled my laughter and asked go... haha.... and check yourself in the mirror... ha first.

She narrowed her eyes and said fine I am going but you better give me the breakfast.

I will give you ok now go and look in a mirror.

As I started fixing the breakfast I heard some cursing and figured that she had seen herself in the mirror.

As I set the table Tink comes out with a determined look acting like nothing has happened.

So u totally rock the fashion sense -confused.

and I started laughing hard.

Shut it tink narrowed her eyes on me and started eating the pancakes I made.

You know what I need a toast to I am going to make it.

Huh!" that shut me up real quick, and I turned to her and said "y. You sit down I will make it."

"Nope I want to try it "

For your inFormation if you don't know she is terrible in the kitchen and it looks like this kitchen is at the last life stage. If she is in that kitchen than kitchen / house is going to be in smithereens.

" Don't go there I will make it for you, just tell me what you want." I can't let myself have to be depended on you every time I want some things" and I have been kicked out of the kitchen officially.

Once she makes up her mind nothing can stop her looks like I need to call Mr DeLuca earlier than we expected I pick up my phone and dial his number as soon as I dial it he picks up "good morning Mia what happened you are calling me the, so early I am going to come home before noon. Sir, please come now because she has decided this is going to cook Her toast by herself" ."what !! Get her out of the kitchen right now"." I can't, I have been kicked out of the kitchen official, and she won't let me enter. '' Ok, I am just coming Don't you worry now''and ends the call.

you might think why I am that much afraid of just her going into the kitchen because if you don't know when she was just a teen trying to make cookies herself , she burn the whole House Down and its not just once or twice it has done at least 10 times and now it will be going to be 11th time because every time she has been in a kitchen neither the place or the food has been saved.

I hear loud banking noise of utensils from the kitchen and think is she making the bread or just toasting it within few minutes there is the ringing of doorbell I go and open it is was Mr DELUCA himself with worried expression and said Where is she now"

"Still in the kitchen it has been 15 minutes, and now I hear some banging noise please can you call her out of the kitchen".

Before anyone can go there is a blast from the kitchen .we all ran to the kitchen and to my utter surprise she managed to blow up the kitchen in just 15 minutes of entering . It's a record that she has been that long in that kitchen. He goes into the smoking kitchen and calls and asks" are you hurt anywhere" she nods her head in the negative, and we take her out of the kitchen.

Mr DeLuca dials someone and asks the person to come quickly and ends the call. He turns towards us and says "I have asked a couple of friends to repair the kitchen and check the damage "

At the very moment Tink started sniffling. As I already said tink might look like a bitch, but she has a very kind heart.

as soon As I pulled her into a hug she started crying. we panicked as We thought she was hurt somewhere and started checking her for a potential injury.

She batted our hands and said while crying "I too wanted to make as tasty as her pancakes for every one. Why I fail at kitchen chores. I am always a burden on the people near me. "

I pull her in to a big hug and say "we like you the way you are! if you don't fail at the kitchen you are not the Tinkerbell I am friends with. it's what makes you special than others. And even u don't excel at every other thing. Look at me I don't even know about magic and all the stuff you are expert at. If you say you are a burden then I too am a bigger burden than you. "

"There are many things that make us dIfferent from others. Every difference is special . Never feel bad for being different".

"Are you feeling better ? ”

“Hm " she nods and says"thanks for saving me,”

“I am your best friend if I won't save you who will even if you are the worst at cooking”

Suddenly the doorbell rang

Mr DeLuca went and opened the door and greeted the people. he invIted them into the house.

Those men had different aura so to speak. Those men looked like they exercise with trucks. so buff and there were muscles everywhere.

I whispered to Tink "do u know them "

"no I don't "

"They are some kind of magic users aren't they I whispered to her "

"No need to talk, so slowly they can still hear us. "
