4: Ms. President

When I saw my therapist I told her about what happened with Raz, she asked if his words hurt me, I was confused why she asked, she said I didn't sound that upset about it. It's true, I basically destroyed whatever courage and popularity this dude had. He stopped acting out in class and Ayesha has been glued to her boyfriend ever since that scare, so I'm sure that just rubbed salt into the wound. However I didn't want to tell my therapist about what I'd done, I couldn't tell anyone what I'd done. So I told her that those kinds of words have stopped bothering me, that I've gotten used to them. She asked if I believed what he said about me. I said some of it was true, but that it doesn't bother me that it's true. She said that was very mature of me.

Although Raz has been quiet, well behaved and gone nowhere near me, Ayesha certainly seems to be happier. As I said she keeps her boyfriend very close, she's smiling and gleaming and still poking fun at people behind their backs, starting rumors and seeing if they catch fire. Obviously it would take much more than that to destroy Ayesha, she's built an empire in the school. How would I even begin to destroy her? That's what I was thinking about this morning, then the announcements came on and told us who was running for student president. I don't know why they bother with that, Ayesha wins every year. Every year less people run because it just isn't as fun to run when you lose every year, the people who still do run have a lot of ambition though. Maybe ambition I could use? What would happen to Ayesha if she lost her place as student president? Would she even be on top anymore? But someone in that list of people running would have to be someone eligible to win against her, and I didn't think anyone in my school had that kind of power. I didn't listen to the announcement that listed everyone that's running so I had to run around the whole school at lunch looking at posters people put up to convince people to vote for them.

Yeah, the chance to be president of the whole school and only four people bothered to run. None of these people would be able to take down Ayesha. Not on their own anyway, but I'm not giving up, I can shape someone into the perfect opponent for Ayesha, as I said, I can change people if I change their surroundings. It's lunch right now but when I get home I'm going to look these people up and see if I can find out something about them, and see who's the best candidate.

My mom did have some...things to say to me but I'm free to do research now.

Used to be friends with Ayesha? But not anymore I guess since Ayesha doesn't let her friends run for student president. Judging from her earlier posts she used to have a lot more followers when she was friends with Ayesha, she hasn’t posted since she split from Ayesha

Aubrey having a falling out with Ayesha intrigued me, finding someone who already has a reason to be rivals with Ayesha is ideal. But then I ran into a bit of a roadblock, Aubrey is scared of Ayesha. She used to have a lot more followers, and a lot more friends but she lost them all when she lost Ayesha, her account used to be public but now it's private. Other people have removed photos she was in from their accounts. This means it would be really hard to shape her into the next student president, she's scared of Ayesha, she won't fight her. And I’ve found that people already seem to dislike her.

But, I found something interesting about Roseanne. I noticed she had a private account so I made an account pretending to be one of her friends and follow requested her private account. I didn't expect it to work but it did, her private account is just for her inner circle so I found some very interesting stuff. First of all, I found her campaigns for student president, she's been running since she came to this school, but she loses every year to Ayesha. She posts every time she starts her campaign and posts every time she loses. The captions of the posts about her losing to Ayesha were what intrigued me most, she called Ayesha a slut in most of those posts. When she started her first campaign she said she was going to "finally get back at Ayesha" - this implies that Ayesha has done something to her. I also found extremely old photos of her and Ayesha as kids on one of her long-term friends' accounts. What really sold me was a screenshot she posted of something that was once on Ayesha's account. At some point Ayesha did that dumb "ask me questions" people do on their stories sometimes, since Roseanne is pretty popular, someone asked Ayesha what she thought of her. Ayesha said "I think she needs to get over him lol" I think this may be my only hint as to what happened between them but I need a bit more information as to who Ayesha was referring to here. Roseanne posted the screenshot with the caption of "I think Ayesha needs to keep her hands to herself lol" so I think this paints a pretty clear picture of what happened, but for the life of me I can't find who either of them is talking about.

I realized I had already chosen who I want to be Ayesha's opponent, but I'll pay close attention to Aubrey, I'll fit her into my plan too, she knows everything about Ayesha anyway.

It's getting late, I suppose I should go to bed... I'm not sure if I should tell my therapist about what happened with mom, I mean I couldn't even write it here, how could I possibly tell her? My mom just got a little mad when she called my math teacher to see why he had kept me after class and he told her he hadn't seen me after class. You see, my mom is very sensitive when it comes to me going anywhere after school. It was a lot more annoying when I actually had a friend, I used to be banned from going to Yinnie's house because my mom didn’t trust that, she always came over here, and my mom insisted that I leave the door open if we were in my room. It's kind of understandable though because she was pregnant at around the age that I am now, not only that but her boyfriend at the time was very abusive. That's why my name is Camora, "Camora" means "a dark secret" and I was a dark secret she had to keep from my...dad, although I've never really considered him my dad. My mom didn't finish high school and now she works odd jobs to keep food on the table. I think she fantasizes about what her life could have been if I wasn't born. Regardless, she knew I would be in better care if she was my only parent so she raised me by herself. What I'm saying is, going somewhere after school is completely out of the question, lying about where I was? Even worse. A death sentence. So really, I think I should be glad she only hit me instead of killing me. Yeah... it sounds better when I put it that way. My mom has been the only one to care for me for a while now, that's why it makes this kind of thing confusing, I'm inclined to be grateful but I also feel hurt whenever she hurts me, y'know? I wish we could just always have a good relationship, I know she cares for me and that's why she does these things but... I don't know.
