CHAPTER 5: First dance

I slowly squeezed through the crowd to have a better look.

After all that was over it was time for Arthur to choose a partner to dance with.

In the last life, Arther chose me to lessen the humiliation from the crowd, but now since I'm fully dressed, he has got to choose a lovely maiden from the crowd. I was so thankful to Arther that day but now I don't want to ruin the chance for Arthur's future wife's plan. Now that I think about it Arther never got engaged with anyone for some reason and he never even had a lover. Wait! Was Arther into.... Guys!!! If he is I must let him know I will be with him no matter what, even though he betrayed me on the day of my execution by not coming it won't hide the fact that he was the one who made me happy in my previous life so I'll help to gain your trust and faith.

Arther seemed to be looking around for somebody, so I also looked around to find who it was.

Right when I turned back Arther came up to me and asked for his first dance.

"Arther! What are you doing? Why ask me?" I whispered in his ears.

"Come on you know I don't want to dance with these girls and start weird rumors are going to spread if I do!" he said as he pulled me to the middle.

"I feel sad for those ladies who so wanted to be your first dance partner, this makes me think are you-"

"Stop talking, the music's about to start!"

Guess I have to tell him later.

The music played a symphony, and it was just like my last life, where it felt like the eye of the people with puncher holes through me, I was scared to even look up, just like how I was in my past life too. A total coward who can not get over her fear. At that moment I wanted to disappear from the world. I always used to curse myself for being born so useless and worthless, then and now i will always be behind my brother's cape.

"Hey! Be confident, I know you can do it because you are my dear sister and I won't let bad things get to you," said Arther.

These words gave me a sense of comfort.I wish you remembered my past life, then you wouldn't have said that because you were also the one who abandoned me, but for the moment that assured me and made me at peace.

After our dance, many people stormed over to Arther and me to have our next dance, but I had to refuse because I was already worn out with that.
