The air crackled with tension as two men stood before us in their human forms, while two others loomed nearby in their wolf forms.
The man in front asked, his voice carrying a dominant aura that hinted at his status as the beta of this pack.
He ordered, his command ringing out with authority.
Aneesh bristled at his demand, her irritation evident as she stood steadfast in her protective stance, unwilling to comply with his orders.

Aneesh seethed angrily in my head, her frustration palpable.

I urged her gently, attempting to soothe her agitation.
Turning my attention back to the situation at hand, I glanced at Eli, who continued to cry inconsolably.

Feeling self-conscious under the scrutiny of their gazes, I hurriedly pulled the shirt on, grateful for the modesty it provided.

Taking Elijah into my arms, I pressed a tender kiss to his head, soothing him as he began to calm down.
