mamma
Liliana P.O.V
************
It had been a few months since we lost everything, and though I couldn't pinpoint our exact location, one thing was certain—we were far removed from our destroyed territory.
Eli called out, his voice filled with innocence and sweetness.
I couldn't help but smile at his adorable babbling.
I replied, my heart swelling with love for him.
Elijah had started to associate me with the term "mamma" in the past few days.
Anna had always longed to hear Elijah call her "mamma," but she was no longer with us.
I hoped, wherever she was, she found peace and happiness alongside my brother.
I hate rogues... because of them, we've been forced into this life of rogues. They've taken everything from us, leaving us with no choice.
As Elijah shifted and began to playfully circle around me, eventually climbing into my arms, I couldn't help but smile at his innocence.
He gestured for me to hold him close, but I knew we couldn't linger in one place for too long.
Liliana
No, my baby... we have to keep moving. We can't stay here
Fenris
(*whine in disapproval)
I explained gently, earning a disappointed whine from him.
He nodded in understanding, but his playful energy remained as he began to jump around. Shifting back into my wolf form,
I watched as my little boy attempted to catch his own tail, his determination bringing a smile to my face.
Aneesh nudged him gently with her nose, signaling that it was time to move on.
With Eli walking beside me and Aneesh pacing patiently, we continued our journey, our little family united against the challenges that lay ahead.
After hours of walking, exhaustion began to weigh heavily on me.
Liliana
*oh god why did you have to give so much stamina to these little ones?*
I muttered to myself, feeling drained both physically and emotionally.
Yet, Elijah continued to walk with seemingly boundless energy, urging me to keep up with him.
Aneesh attempted to slow Fenris down through our mind link,
Aneesh
"Slow down" (*mind link to fenris)
but her words only seemed to invigorate the little creature, causing him to run even faster in excitement.
Suddenly, before I could react, Fenris darted across the border into unknown territory.
Panic surged through me, my heart racing as I sprinted after him, desperate to reach him before any harm could befall him.
Before I could pull him....
As Fenris shifted into his little human form and stumbled, falling onto his backside, tears welled up in his eyes as he looked back at me for reassurance.
My heart clenched with worry, knowing I had to retrieve him from this dangerous territory.
Slowly, I stepped across the border, offering comfort with gentle licks to Fenris's tear-stained cheeks.
Elijah
(*Reaching for lily)
He reached out his hands to me, seeking my protection, but in my wolf form, I was unable to lift him.
Closing my eyes to concentrate on shifting back into my human form, a sudden force knocked me to the ground.
Pain shot through me as I collided with the earth, leaving Fenris even more terrified as he began to cry out in fear.

But you are the rogue now too. So remember that not all rogues are the same. Some might be like you, forced by the situation.
