Fighting over me ?

Monday, the armpit of the week.

I need to go to school again, but this time I have someone to talk to.

I did my daily routines, but this time I chose to have a skincare routine. I want to look gorgeous for Walter. I think I kind of really like him I hope he doesn't let me down.

I arrived at school late, as entered the class the teacher was already there.

"Brianna, you're late, what happened? "

The teacher asked as he adjusted his tie. The teacher's name is Mr Williams, the chemistry teacher. Chemistry is kind of a boring subject, I don't know how people even study that subject.

"I am so sorry sir, I was a little carried away this morning "

I was so busy on my skin that I forgot I had school. It was hard looking for clothes to wear, but I dealt with that anyway.

"Don't be late next time, go have a seat" he said as he started writing a formula that looked like gibberish on the board. I went to my seat and surprisingly Walter was not in school. Wow, I dressed up for nothing, I sat down and decided to take some notes just in case of a surprise test.

Soon after the class, the teacher gave us a weird assignment that was to be submitted in two weeks time. As I was about to eat some snacks I stashed in my bag, I suddenly heard some screams from outside the classroom. I stood up and walked towards the door and what I saw shocked me. Walter was beating up the guy who helped me the other day when I bumped into him, I realized his name was Anthony. I wonder what it is about, they finally separated them. I approached Diana, I tapped her and she turned around, she looked at me in disbelief.

"Hey Diana, what happened? "

I said curiously

"Bri, I don't think you should be here"

"Why? "

"Because they are fighting over you"

Fighting over me for what reason, before I could say anything, Walter came rushing towards me and dragged me away.

"Walter, you're hurting me" I yelped in pain

He finally let go when we reached the library, there was no one in the library even the librarian wasn't there.

"Brianna, do you like Anthony? "

"How would I like Anthony, I don't know him too well"

"Phew, that's a relief, because he said he could get your attention whenever he wanted. He also said you may end up with him someday"

I stared at Walter, I didn't know what to say. Two guys were fighting over me, that sounds ridiculous. I had nothing to say to Walter, I just didn't understand why they fought, there was no point. Before I could say anything, he hugged me tightly and whispered into my ear.

"I won't let you go, your mine"

My cheeks turned red, and my temperature was at its peak. He didn't let me go until someone came rushing in, it was Anthony!!.

Anthony came towards us and looked at me in disbelief.

"So you believe this jerk likes you, Brianna, he is a player, and you will be nothing to him when he is done. Because he is only obsessed with you. He has other girls he meets, I can show you a picture as proof"

Anthony brought out his phone and showed me a picture of Walter kissing another girl. I couldn't believe my eyes. I looked at Walter in shock, I couldn't believe he would do this.

"Brianna, I can explain, "he said as he held my hand

I shook his hand off me and left Anthony and Walter in the library.

He was just obsessed, he doesn't like me. I felt heartbroken for a moment, but there was nothing I could do.

Diana tried cheering me up, but it wasn't working.

I went back home, with sadness and pain in my heart. I finally realized it was too early to like someone, I had to focus on my studies instead.

I went to bed early because I didn't want to talk to anyone, even my mom. She even came knocking on the door, but I couldn't respond because I made a mistake. I didn't know this was going to be the beginning of a painful experience.
