The Date

Two Days passed and I didn't talk to Walter. I don't really care because today is Friday, the best day in the week. After entering school, I was welcomed with some chocolate on my desk. I didn't know who dropped it but I picked it anyway and I saw a message on a piece of paper under the chocolate. It read

"Hey Brianna, I want to talk to you, can we meet after school at the fountain, please I really miss you"

Well I made up my mind to meet him after school, maybe he deserved a chance to explain himself.

After school, I went to the fountain and I saw Walter sitting down on one of the benches.

He stood up and walked towards me.

" Brianna, I thought you wouldn't want to talk to me " he said with a want expression in his face

"Explain yourself Walter " I said in rage

"Brianna, what they told you is not true. Alexis was spreading a rumor about me and her going on a date this weekend but it's not true, Please believe me."

I stared into his eyes, and I wanted to believe him but I wasn't sure.

"Ok then, I need to go home, I have things to do "

I was about to walk away when Walter dragged me and pecked me on my cheek. My face turned red, so I decided to run away because things were already awkward.

When I reached home, I git a text from Walter saying " Hey, are we still going on our date? "

And I replied " Yes "

After that I switched off my phone and went to look for cereal.

The next day, I woke up by 9am in the morning, I was so lazy but I remembered I had a date today. Do I stood and prepared for the date. I didn't put too much makeup, I only applied powder and lip gloss. I wore a short dress with a cute handbag.

As I was going downstairs my mother stared at me in disbelief

" And where is my little princess going to? " She said as she had a weird smirk on her face

"I am going out with a friend mom"

"Hmm.. Are u sure it's not a boyfriend " she said teasingly

" Moommm " I said as I ran out the front door and took a cab to the cafe.

I arrived at the cafe a minute late.

As I entered the cafe, I saw Walter sitting at the window side looking at his watch.

I rushed over to him as sat down.

"Hi, I am so sorry that I am late " I said taking a sigh of relief

" It's no problem Bri, you look gorgeous today " he said with a smile

"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself "

We started talking some more , we ordered tea and biscuits. It was nice spending time with him until he suggested we went to his house.

"Well, I am not sure I am come to your house"

"Come on Bri, my parents are not at home, they travelled for a business trip. Am all alone "

"Ok then, lets go "

We walked out of the cafe hand in hand, it felt so romantic I wanted to jump in excitement.

We took a cab to his place, it was a long drive but it was worth it.

His house was huge, there was a garden at the front. It was a very beautiful sight to behold.

" Let's go inside " he said as he held my hand

I nodded and followed his lead.

The inside was better, or had very good furnishing and beautiful paintings. And the best part was, there was a swimming pool at the back. I couldn't believe my eyes , I could get lost in this kind of place. We went to his room and we played some games together it was fun until he did something shocking. He stared at me for a moment, he leaned closer and planted a kiss on my lips. I was shocked, I wanted to push him away but it was very intriguing. I kissed him back and we kissed until we were out of air. We looked at each other and chuckled.

"I am sorry, next time I'll ask for your permission " he said innocently

I looked at him and gave him a kiss on his forehead.

Afterwards, he decided to let his driver drop me at home. We kissed one more time and I boarded the car. I waved at him and he did the same. I reached home finally.

"Thank you sir, for driving me home" I said as I came down from the car

"You're welcome madam, have a wonderful evening " he said as he started the engine and drove away.

I entered the house and found my mom sleeping on the couch, I guess she was too tired to wait for me. I climbed upstairs and changed into my pajamas.

I was too tire to check my phone and decided to sleep immediately.

I enjoyed my time spent with Walter and all I could do was dream about it over and over again.
