He likes Alexis

The next day, I entered the classroom with a big smile because I am going on a date with Walter. I felt so happy that everyone liked the new vibe I was giving and decided to talk to me one on one.

" Hey , you look prettier when you smile. You should keep smiling" a girl said looking at me with a cute smile on her face

"Nice to meet you, my name is Diana" she said as she stretched her hand out to shake me

"It's nice to meet you Diana, I hope we can be friends . And thank you for the compliment" I said as I took her hand.

"I would love to be friends with you, I think your really cool"

" wow really, I thought I was a nerd or something "

" No Brianna, you just feel different from others "

I looked at her and gave her a warm smile.

To that day one we became friends, we sat together we talked about many things especially about boys.

"So Brianna, are you and Walter a thing? "

She said in a serious tone.

"No, why did u ask? "

"Because there's a rumour about Walter and Alexis "

I looked at her, I felt kind of jealous

" Tell me " I said

" Well, Alexis and Walter are going on a date this weekend "

When she told me, I froze. So he was going out with another girl, I couldn't believe it.

After that conversation, I went to my seat and sat down.

"Hey beautiful, how are you" Walter said as he sat down close to me.

I ignored him and decide to read a comic I recently bought. He stared at me, confused he grabbed my hand

"Bri, why aren't you answering me "

I pulled my hand away from his grip and stood up to leave. Just before I could leave, he grabbed me by the waist and placed my back against the wall.

" What do you think you're doing, let go of me " I said trying to loosen his grip on me.

"Brianna, what's wrong? "

"Don't you have someone else to disturb" I said as I pushed him away and walked towards Diana.

For the rest of the day, I didn't talk to to him, I ignored him all day.

Finally another day of school was over, I was on my way home with Diana. We met Alexis on the way and she started preaching to us.

"Hey Brianna, I hope you have heard about me and Walter's little date this weekend. He doesn't like you, he likes me. So if I were you, I would stay away from him" , she said as she walked away with her minions behind her.

That's what I was going to do, I want going to talk to him ever again. Because he tricked me into believing that he liked me. Meanwhile he likes Alexis, I should have known better than to like someone in just two days.

"Don't take her words to heart Bri, you will find someone better " Dianna said as she held my hand.

I was silent throughout our walk before we parted ways

"Bye Brianna" , Diana said as she crossed the road.

I waved at her and I walked home alone.

When I reached home, I carried some snacks from the fridge and locked myself up in my room.

I opened my phone and saw seventeen missed calls from Walter, I wasn't in the mood to talk to him so I ignored and decide to watch a movie on my laptop to reduce the pain I felt in my heart.
