As Yuki took the medication, his breathing gradually returned to normal. Akira laid him on the bed. His omega appearance and the scent in the room made Akira's inner self fight a battle between his rational side and his instincts.
"You'll feel better soon," he said, choosing teas for him, clenching his fist so tightly that his hand bled.
Akira looked around the room until he found Yuki's backpack. He grabbed it and dumped everything on the floor until he found the ring box.
"Found it, finally."
Seeing the phrase engraved on top, he opened it and took the ring. Inside, it read: Yuki.
"So he chose you...so be it." As he spoke, he put the jewelry back in the box and then in his pocket.
Akira approached the unconscious Yuki.
"So you're my omega..."
He kissed Yuki on the forehead, then picked him up in his arms. As Yuki snuggled against his chest, Akira's heart skipped a beat. He looked ahead, trying to calm himself. Just as he was about to use his flames to go back to hell, a demon appeared, resembling the child but an adult, with much larger horns, wings, and tail.
"What is it now? I'm on my way back."
He knelt and lowered his head.
"Oh, great Demon King. Mighty infernal being, heir of Satan..."
"Get on with it, will you?"
"Satan summons you immediately."
"Very well. I'll take my bride with me."
"The matter requires only you, great king…"
Akira glared at him furiously.
"I'll be there shortly. Inform my father."
The demon bowed and vanished in flames.
Akira placed Yuki back on the bed and gave him a light kiss.
"My bride, soon we will be together."
He moved away from Yuki, and flames consumed them both, causing both to disappear.

The alarm clock wouldn't stop ringing. Yuki turned, trying to go back to sleep, when a flash in his mind made him remember what had happened at the grocery store and at his house.
"This can't be real... it was all just a dream," he said to himself.
The alarm clock wouldn't stop blaring, so he got out of bed and searched for his cell phone, which was on the floor, along with all the other things from his backpack.
"I must be going crazy..." he grumbled.
He grabbed his cell phone and turned off the alarm. He started scrolling through his messages and noticed several unread messages from work. He panicked; he couldn't lose this job. He clicked to read and looked at the latest messages:
"A friend of yours came by to say you weren't feeling well and took you home. I'm giving you this week off. Get some rest and feel better soon."
"He really is a wonderful boss...Wait...who's this friend of mine who went to talk to him and brought me home? I must have run into Mika and don't remember." He paused. "That's the only explanation!"
Yuki messaged Mika to thank her. Then he went back to packing his things for college.
