The journey of high school...

During my high school years, we encountered a plethora of new experiences that were entirely novel to us. From exhilarating school trips to fierce interschool competitions, and even witnessing our juniors humbly bowing before us, the list was endless. However, amidst all these adventures, one thing weighed on us heavily: the burden of academics.

Up until the 8th grade, studying hadn't posed much of a challenge. But as soon as we stepped into the 9th grade, all our subjects seemed to morph into formidable adversaries, particularly mathematics. It felt as if we were grappling with an insurmountable beast—a task that appeared utterly unconquerable.

Mathematics had always been a formidable subject for me, but my struggle with it took a new and challenging turn in the ninth grade. It was as if my once manageable relationship with math had suddenly gone awry, throwing me into a whirlwind of confusion and frustration.

And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, another antagonist made its grand entrance into my life: physics. It shook me to my core.

In the midst of the turmoil caused by mathematics and physics, Drishya emerged as a guiding light in my life. Like a rising sun breaking through the darkness, he extended his unwavering support, illuminating my path.

Drishya always outshone me in mathematics, and not just in mathematics, but in every subject that had been my sworn enemy, like history.

When I found myself entangled in the dangerous web of these subjects, struggling to catch my breath, Drishya reached out and extended his hand to rescue me. He patiently explained every question until it became as smooth as butter for me. He simplified the enigmatic world of mathematics, turning its challenges into manageable tasks. It was through his guidance that I discovered a newfound affection for physics, a subject that had previously been an enigma to me.

In the midst of life's rollercoaster ride, there was one person who stood out, weaving a web of both chaos and curiosity in my world. That person was none other than Riti, a recent addition to our 9th-grade class.

At first glance, she appeared as innocent as a dew-kissed morning, extending the hand of friendship, and I, with an open heart, welcomed her into my life. Little did I know that every opportunity she seized would become a recipe for mischief, turning my world upside down...

One fine day, after school, when Drishya and I were engrossed in the library, with him explaining some challenging concepts to me, Riti walked in with an innocent smile on her face. She insisted on taking me to her house, claiming it was for something important, but in reality, she just wanted to show off her new dresses.

At that moment, I felt like I was some sort of superhero, contemplating whether I should unleash my powers and reduce Riti, the troublemaker, to ashes so that the world could be rid of her antics. But, as fate would have it, the bonds of friendship kept my fiery urges at bay...

Next day, it was the dreaded day of my math exam, where my performance was less than stellar...

And this wasn't the first or the last time; Riti always managed to create misunderstandings between me and Kiran. We had our fair share of arguments due to her meddling, but we eventually learned not to pay too much attention to her words.

That innocent-looking girl even attempted to spark a fire between me and Drishya, but her efforts never bore fruit.

Nevertheless, whatever it was, we had accepted her as our friend, and we had grown accustomed to her quirks and habits. Yet, there were times when her actions pushed the limits of our patience...

After enduring countless challenges at school, whenever I scored even slightly lower on a class test, my parents would unleash a storm of criticisms at home. It often made me feel as though taking my own life might be easier at times.

During those challenging times, when occasionally even Kiran sided with my parents instead of me, I found solace in Drishya's unwavering support.

He listened to my grievances attentively, and instead of lecturing like my parents or Kiran, he tried to help me find solutions to my problems...

And perhaps it was during those moments that my admiration for Drishya transformed into love. I never wanted to lose him...

When I was in junior classes, it felt like the seniors were having all the fun, but as I stepped into the shoes of a senior, my joy was short-lived, and memories of junior school started flooding back.

Anyway, I managed to secure a place among the top five in the ninth grade, but the journey was far from over. We were about to enter the tenth grade.

The tale of my high school years is one filled with ups and downs, laughter and tears, but above all, it's a story of growth and resilience. As I stood on the precipice of the tenth grade, I knew that the adventure was far from over.

Even after this worst experience in 9th grade, I looked forward to the next chapter of this incredible journey, eager to see where it would take us.

The tenth grade, a class that would completely reshape a student's life, known as 'the board's class'...
