Episode 3

Months have passed and here I am in the clinic with my sister who is about to give birth to my princess, Lucero. That will be my princess's name, as I have decided. The lawyer I trust is accompanying me to handle the adoption process and register the child as my daughter. Afterward, I will leave with her to a farm I bought in France, where I will dedicate myself to producing wines and cheeses. Only Mrs. Mónica, who will work for me, and the lawyer know about my plans.

My little Lucero was born. My sister was very brave, but she turned out to be a terrible mother. When they handed her the baby, she rejected her. The baby cried, but when I took her into my arms, she stopped crying. Soon after, the nurse took her away while I proceeded with the legal process. My sister signed, and the doctor explained to me that her rejection of the baby is normal, that some women experience postpartum depression, perhaps my sister is one of them. I touched his shoulder and said, "Doctor, what my sister has is a sick soul, her only trauma is called 'Love of money'". The doctor looked at me and understood when the lawyer handed me the documents, confirming that the child was legally mine. Anna had asked if the money was in her account; if it was, I could leave with the bastard. I clenched my fists, went to thank the doctor. After all, thanks to him, I will have someone to spend the rest of my life with. I know my parents would be proud of their granddaughter, and she will lack nothing.

I arrived at my sister's room, and she asked me why I was still here and hadn't left yet. She warned me to leave before she regrets giving her daughter to me and negotiates with our Uncle, the father's brother. Her gaze was wicked. I clenched my fists and responded that she shouldn't even consider it because I sold the company and already gave her the money, which isn't true. I didn't sell the company, or maybe I did, but I bought it back in my lawyer's name. I leave him in charge for a while, then I will return. It's a lot to ask of him, but he has always been there for us. My mother entrusted him and left him the company when we were just babies. Mr. Félix and his wife were good friends of my parents. However, I couldn't help but feel anxious about Lucero's paternal family. Don't they know about her existence? Anna says no, but why did she mention it today? I left the hospital with my beautiful Lucero. She was calm in my arms as I sang her a lullaby melody that I had always longed to hear from my mother, who unfortunately left us at birth. We headed to the airport and got on Mr. Félix's private jet. Several months have passed since my brother's death, and my mother fell into depression again a few days ago. I don't know what happened to that woman, Anna. I haven't been able to find her. It still had some battery left. I felt a bit strange for going through his personal belongings. I checked his call log and realized that Anna was the last person he spoke to on the phone. I went to his messages and read her text.

"I don't care if you're with Nicoletta. Either come to the hotel right now, or I'll leave forever, and you can forget about your child because I'll abort it when I get to the United States. So, I want you here flying immediately. Your child's life is in your hands."

I finished reading the message and understood that she was the one responsible for my brother's death. That whore. If she hadn't made him leave in a rush, he would still be alive. I squeezed the phone tightly as tears streamed down my face. I continued reading the messages, and I found many of hers. My brother spent a lot of money on her because, according to him, he loved Nicoletta. Could it be that he was also in love with Anna? Can one love two women at the same time?

I stopped reading because I couldn't bear it anymore. Seeing how she harassed and blackmailed my brother to leave Nicoletta for her, I also found some explicit videos she sent him.
