story teller
This story happened to one of the readers who had a strange experience while studying at one of the country's leading universities. Here is her experience.
Food runners.
My name is Nora.
That night, I went out to eat at the store with Nisa, Farah, and Alin. Alin was driving, Farah was sitting next to the driver while me and Nisa were in the back.
Nearly 30 minutes we turned around looking for an eatery. On average many customers.
"Where do you want to eat?"
Farah asked as she looked ahead.
"I don't know. We're just with the guide"
Nisa answered. I just smiled.
"Alin, you're from here, aren't you? Bring us to eat in a delicious place."
Farah turned her gaze towards Alin who was diligently driving.
"I want to bring this. But the shop is very crowded."
"All the shops we saw earlier are crowded. Just bring it anywhere. As long as it's tasty and worth it."
"Yes, fine ma'am."
Alin replied with a small laugh.
We were taken to a restaurant in front of the intersection. The store is built of boards and cement. Quite ordinary when seen. But the customers there are very many.
"Eat here… Tomyam near here is solid And delicious. Kailan vegetables with salted fish he can withstand."
Alin said while parking the car.
"Hurry up. I'm hungry."
Quickly Nisa opened the car door.
"Hey, hurry up. There won't be a seat later."
Farah invited while walking fast. We followed from behind.
Our luck was good as there was an empty table near the wall of the shop. We passed a table occupied by a large family. They use two tables. Combined into one.
We took our seats immediately. Then a waiter came with two pieces of hard paper with the menu written on it and handed it to us.
Finished taking the order, the waiter walked over from our table. My heart felt like something was wrong.
Since setting foot into the store, I feel the temperature in this store is hot in a different way. My roma hair is also shivering.
"Nora. Is it okay? It's different."
Nisa scolded me. I smiled as I said nothing. We then chatted.
Soon, the waiter came with a tray of food. Nisa's eyes seemed to shine.
"Be careful with that food."
Suddenly a woman's voice rang in my ear. Amina's sister's voice.
"Wait. Don't eat again."
I instructed the others. Farah holding a spoon in astonishment.
"La Ilaha Illa Anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin .."
I recited the prayer of the Prophet Jonah and surrendered to God.
With God's permission, we could see the food we ordered was suddenly slimy and gave off a foul odor. A few small white caterpillars came out of my foot cracks.
Our appetites kept falling apart. Several customers near our table stopped feeding immediately when they saw what had happened to my food.
"Ah, what's that? Oh God. Let's go back. I've lost my appetite."
Alin seemed angry and got up from her seat, followed by the three of us. Some customers also got up from their seats.
"It's okay. Let me pay."
I said as I headed to the counter despite trying to be stopped by other friends.
"It's okay brother. You don't have to pay for that"
The sister at the counter said to me with a mischievous facial reaction. A middle -aged man did his best to calm the situation in his shop while occasionally looking sharply at me.
We walked to the car with a rumbling stomach. Alin, Nisa and Farah looked gloomy. I turned to look at the shop while reciting the verse of Kursi three times and surah al-Ikhlas three times.
With His permission, I was shown a figure in the form of a small monkey jumping around on a table that had been occupied by a large family.
The monkey genie suddenly looked at me. His face is bad. The fangs are long. Red eyes lit up. Its fur is a bit longer than a normal monkey. I guess that's what it's like to be a runaway.
Food runners are magic that is often used by food store owners to buy and eat at their own eateries.
"Nora, hurry up."
Alin's call surprised me. I kept stepping into the car.
"Hmmm .. Let's eat magigi again tonight."
Farah spoke up front. We all laughed.
"We're going to McDonald's, aren't we?"
Alin gave a suggestion.
"It's like I'm not full."
Nisa replied with a smile.
"We ate near mamak. It's okay. This time it's all covered."
I cracked.
"Wow, is that right? Mamak is expensive"
Nisa seemed to disbelieve.
"Yes, that's right. Do you want to or not?"
"Eh nak lah. Haa, let's go to mamak!"
"Haha .."

The second story is the story of the same author.
Title: Jealous envy
Ever since the incident that night, we felt traumatized if we wanted to eat out. We ate more in cafes. If there is a night market, we buy food there.
I have also shared the knowledge and prayers I know to my friends for them to practice.
Alin is getting closer to me. If not four, we go out together. Various knowledge and stories we share together.
Coincidentally, Alin is from a pious family. His father was a ustaz, who taught in one of the religious schools. His mother is a ustazah in a nursery.
However, I also did not forget the other friends. I consider them all the same. Nothing more and nothing less.
Nisa, Alin and Farah, who are my housemates, have come to know my strengths. But I asked them to keep quiet about it. Let us know.
To make a long story short, the cafe is closed for three days. The students had to eat out. For those of us who are traumatized, this situation is very troubling to us.
"Don't pick a store that's crowded."
Nisa's message. Farah and Alin laughed. I just smiled.
This time we were looking for a restaurant that did not have many customers.
"But, if the shop is not crowded, the food is not always tasty. Even if it is tasty, the price must be expensive."
Alin spoke up.
"Not at all, expensive and not tasty. Finish it, die, my children."
Farah added while pretending to squeeze her head.
It is said to be a headache.
"Eh, over there. That shop. There's no one. We're eating near there."
I pointed towards an empty eatery.
"Do you want to eat near there?"
Alin asked. Like hesitation.
"That's it. Besides, it's kind of hard to find a shop that doesn't have many people."
Nisa replied.
Cars are parked near the store.
"Nora, if there's anything, please."
Alin whispered to me as we got out of the car. Even though she was a year older than us, she didn’t like being called sister. Looks old, she said.
A light blue veiled woman seemed to smile when she saw the four of us take our seats.
Immediately he handed the menu paper to us while waiting to take the order.
"Didn't you notice? The older brother was just smiling when we sat here. While writing the order, he smiled."
Nisa spoke after the light blue veiled sister disappeared into the kitchen.
"She's having fun. Maybe we're the first customers to eat near here."
Farah jokes.
Without knowing that they are really the first customer.
Then the blue -veiled sister reappeared and sat at the table in front of the television. He started writing something in the book.
"Where's the nearest toilet?"
I asked as I looked around.
"I don't know. In the store maybe? Try asking that sister."
Alin replied. Eyes were focused on the broadcast on television.
I got up and headed towards the light blue veiled sister.
"The toilet is close inside. You go in, then turn left."
He pointed in one direction. After saying thank you I went inside.
Inside, the workers looked at me and smiled. I returned their smiles.
After finishing using the bathroom, I returned to my seat. By then our drinks had been delivered.
Like what happened that day, I felt uncomfortable and hot when in this store. When you think about it logically, where can it possibly be hot because in this place where we sit there is no wall at all. All there is is a roof.
I took my place at the soft blue -veiled sister's table. He turned to me with a smile.
"Yes, sister. What's wrong?"
"Sister. I want to ask a little. I'm sorry. Not many people come to this shop?"
Actually I was scared to ask that question. But to be sure, I asked as well.
"There used to be a lot of siblings. I don't know, since 3-4 nights, people haven't come either."
The answer is weak.
Then he introduced himself. Her name is Salmiah's sister.
Apparently she is the owner of this eatery and her husband is a cook. One of their sons became a shop assistant.
"Sometimes I think there's something wrong with this shop. The kitchen is always hot. We installed a fan and it still feels hot. I'm sweating."
Salmiah's sister told me. His face is grim.
I also felt the hot temperature while walking in the kitchen earlier.
A waiter appeared from the kitchen carrying our food. Then came Salmiah's sister's husband sitting near us wiping his sweat.
"Sometimes your husband looks like a black shadow standing next to him. Then he disappears. Today, you and your friends are the first customers to come here."
"Did you call any ustaz? To come and see this shop?"
I am asking.
"Not yet. Besides, I don't know who to call."
"In that case, let me help. I'll do what I can."
I asked permission while looking at Salmiah's sister.
"Can you help me?"
"God willing."
Kak Salmiah was talking to her husband. Her husband looked at me.
"Do it. We don't even know how to do it."
Salmiah's sister's husband also gave me permission.
I began to resign. As I read the Chair verse, the pots and utensils in the kitchen fell to the floor. We could see some glimpses of black shadows appearing in the kitchen.
When I finished reciting surah al-Ikhlas, a long-haired creature in white cloth appeared suddenly as if about to attack but it could not approach because I was reciting;
"Auzubika Limatillah Hitamati Min syarri ma hola q"
The creature stood upright looking sharply at me. I felt that I was the only one who saw the creature. I try to communicate mentally.
"Assalamualaikum."
"Assalamualaikum."
"Assalamualaikum."
Three times I greeted, but the creature just kept quiet.
"Where did you come from?"
I am asking.
"I came from there."
The creature pointed in one direction.
"What is the purpose of your coming here? Who is your messenger?"
I raised my voice a little.
"I was told to ruin everything here. My job is almost successful. But, your presence here has interfered with my job. Be ready, you stupid man!"
The creature tried to attack again but he failed to approach me.
Suddenly the creature opened its mouth wide. His long gray tongue dangled out. His fangs are getting longer. Simultaneously, a foul odor came out of his mouth. The aroma can be smelled by anyone who is in the store.
Salmiah's sister and her husband had to leave the store. So are my friends. The food on the table has not been touched. I almost vomited when the scent got stronger and rotted. My focus became distracted.
"Ms. Nor has to be strong. This is all just a trick. Remember God, Ms. Nor."
Suddenly Sister Amina's voice appeared in my ear. I continued to read the verses of Kursi and surah al-Baqarah. The creature was getting weaker. Finally he remained silent and did not fight.
I used this opportunity to negotiate. Alhamdulillah, after 10 minutes the creature is no longer in the shop. But the atmosphere in the store is still the same. No change.
I recited Bismillah 6 and put my trust in Allah. My purpose in reading this Bismillah 6 is to find out if there is anything planted in this shop.
"Look, it's near the vase. There's smoke."
Farah spoke as they waited in the car.
I headed to the flowerpot located outside the shop area. There was smoke coming out of the vase. I continued to recite Bismillah 6. The smoke was getting thicker but the planted items were still not visible. This time the verse of Ruqyah is an option.
After reading, with God's permission, the planted item appeared on its own from the potted soil. With the word bismillah, I took the small red cloth and baked it.
I told everything to Salmiah's sister and her husband. They looked happy and repeatedly thanked him.
The situation at the store returned to normal. No more feeling uncomfortable in hot temperatures. The couple did not want to charge us anything but we still insisted on paying. Eventually they complied and accepted our money.
Thanks never left Sister Salmiah's lips. Before returning home, I had 'fenced' the shop. InsyaAllah, safe from all things that are not good. Just have to believe in the power of God.
"Teach us that earlier."
Farah spoke up as we were on our way back to the hostel.
"Ha, yes. Teach us."
Nisa supports Farah.
"It's okay to teach. But there are conditions."
I smiled.
"What are the conditions?"
Ask them almost simultaneously.
"The condition is to pray for repentance first. After that, fast circumcision for a week. Only during that fasting period can you study."
"But we only learn the basics. If you want more, you have to find a teacher."
I will explain.
"All right. We agree."
Nisa and Farah agree. Alin and I just smiled a little.
