BLACK FACE RUNNER STANDING IN A RESTAURANT ( by a reader )
The clock starts to show at 12:00 midnight. According to the old people, midnight is the peak hour for 'them' to go out and disturb.
But for me, no one knows when the actual time these creatures go out 'on duty' because my eyes still see these glimpses.
When the head starts buzzing and the eyes start watering, it's time to rest the head and eyes. Car keys reached. The steering wheel of the car turned to a 24-hour restaurant. In my head I already imagined ginger tea tarik, which is spicy, fat and foamy.
Arrived at the store around 12:30pm. Many people still do not sleep at these times. My chest started pounding when I stepped into the restaurant. Don't go anywhere else, lazy anyway. He leaned back on the chair and began to order.
While waiting for a drink, eyes began to wander around the shop up to the ceiling. Somehow the eyes suddenly focused on the corner of the entrance. The heart began to worry. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it looks like a small bottle tucked in the corner of the restaurant. It's no coincidence that Roma's hair started to growl.
The eyes continued to look around the restaurant. In one corner of the restaurant, a woman dressed all in black was seen perched on the doorpost. His eyes pay attention to every customer who comes. Sometimes his body swings left and right, like a monkey in a zoo when a bean is thrown.
His curly hair was left tangled, as if he hadn't showered in a year. His face was black and contorted, like charred flesh. His hands look like mop sticks wrapped in thin plastic, too skinny! He dangled his hand until it touched the head of every new customer who entered.
"This is the tea. Eat, don't you want?" suddenly a voice was heard greeting Yang rather rubbish. A mug filled with tea was placed on the table until it spilled a little. A thump on the table made me turn to the waiter. In the heart of the restaurant, I began to trash the service of this restaurant.
The eyes glanced back at the woman dressed all in black. I don't know where he disappeared. Remembering the safe tips from the old people, the tongue began to be raised to the palate. According to the elders, if the palate does not feel anything and the tongue feels numb, it is best to avoid eating or drinking the food served.
The same goes for feeling under the container of drinks or food. If the drink is hot and the bottom of the cup or container is cold, it is best to avoid it. It's the other way around too.
Before touching the drink, a few pieces of holy verse are read until the pounding in the chest decreases. Hand extended towards the drinking mug. Without warning.. PRAKKK..mug suddenly cracked and split.
In an instant the hot ginger tea started to overflow and almost hit the feet. Eyes automatically look towards the bar of the restaurant's entrance. It looks like the black board was showing itself and swinging left and right.
Mamak ran across the counter to the table and told the waiter to clean up the spilled water. I took out my wallet, wanted to pay for the drink but the payment was not accepted because the drink was not drunk anymore. Even want to be replaced without any charge.
I just shook my head. Need to be careful because some are looking and testing in these shops. Feet start to step out. What is done causes discomfort to the trader. I don't even know what was being said, but from the expression on his face, his dissatisfaction was clearly visible.
I turned to him and told him to remove the bottle that was stuck on the door frame and continue to leave the restaurant. Perhaps taken aback by what I said, the restaurant manager remained silent.
As soon as I stepped out of the restaurant, it felt like someone was following me from behind. Turning to the left, I saw a black shadow in a cloak slowly following. My heart was ticking not to go home. Kaki continued to step towards another 24-hour restaurant.
Ginger tea was ordered again and asked for a bottle of mineral water and a few lines as an extra. The body deliberately turned its back to the entrance of the store.
Lime is squeezed into mineral water while reading while reading a few pieces of common verses along with a prayer asking for salvation from the evil of humans and invisible nations.
After the drinks were finished and paid for, I started to step out with a bottle filled with a mixture of mineral water and lemonade in hand. The fur began to stand up again. Ahh.. still following the looks. Although invisible, my natural 'radar' began to warn.
It felt as if a hand was slowly approaching and wanted to strangle the neck. The longer the closer. The mouth began to twitch as he read a few verses of the Holy Qur'an. And...
The bottle of mineral water is opened and the water is put into the mouth. I moved my body to the left and simultaneously sprayed towards the following board. Perhaps out of surprise, the board continued to dodge and jump towards one of the pillars that illuminated the road. His head tilted back to stare at me.
The chest is beating faster. Perhaps not satisfied, it tries to approach. As if floating, it moved towards me. Exactly challenging.
In a frenzied throb, I continued to pour water on the board and spontaneously it moved quickly, perched on the street lamp. Some of the customers who were there started to see what I was doing.
My eyes kept staring at the board that was on the lamp post. Anger and horror mixed in the heart. Her curly hair was swaying as if blown by the wind. I just want to scream for him to get off. I want to ask who the owner is and why it bothers me.
However, when I thought that I had no knowledge in communicating and subduing these creatures, I just kept quiet. Some customers started to get up and leave the restaurant. Maybe to see the live broadcast 'drama' or maybe realize the restaurant is using a salesperson.
Seeing the customers leaving en masse, the restaurant manager continued to come out and approach me. His face looked surprised. I continued to pour half a bottle of water on the electric pole where the board was perched. As if transfixed, it continued to remain silent there
.
"Brother, don't do this like that. It won't do my business any good," said the restaurant manager. Without saying anything, I continued to move towards the car while watching whether the black board was trailing again or not.
I wanted to scold him but I couldn't. I'm not the type that likes to hinder other people's livelihood, even though I know the way it's done is wrong.
Until I left the place, I could still see the black board attached to the lamp post. Nice! Hope it doesn't follow me home.
Along the way, I put on a CD of holy verses as hard as possible to give me energy and enthusiasm.
The only thing that makes me think is, do these people not believe in the sustenance that God sends down? Why is it necessary to use other 'aids' if the food and drinks served are delicious and worth the price?
This is not the case, the food is not tasty, the service is rude and the food is expensive. And why blindside the customer by blocking the customer's view of a competitor's restaurant?
To those who have blocked other people's sustenance, whether physically or subtly, I can't say anything. It's up to them. Let it be paid off in the afterlife.
As of now, I am no longer followed by the board. In fact, every time he passes through the road, he doesn't seem to be clinging to the lamp post anymore. May have returned to his master's lap, or been electrocuted!
Hehe.. the end
Twilight disturbance
FAR away Rozita was daydreaming while waiting for the Isyak prayer, even the telekung she wore during the Maghrib prayer had not yet been released.
But her reverie was interrupted when she heard the scream of a kitten from outside the house, which made Rozita search for the direction of the cat's voice.
A feeling of pity began to rise in him not to mention that it was raining and he thought that maybe the kitten was alone and separated from its mother.
"I reached for the flashlight and went out to look for the kitten... Heard it screaming from the ditch across from the house and I flashed it towards the sound of its scream."
"But the strange thing is, when I turned on the light towards the sound, the cat didn't scream and I finally decided to go inside the house because it was raining," he said.
However, Rozita said, when she turned around to walk home, she heard the kitten scream again and the sound was right in the ditch next to her house.
Sensing something was wrong, Rozita suddenly shivered but still dared to go back outside the house to find the kitten.
"I was satisfied but I didn't see anything. Twice I patrolled from end to end of the house but still couldn't find the kitten," he recalled.
Strange with the situation, Rozita refused to think too much about it and returned home before going to the kitchen to feed her two beloved cats.
The smell in the room, the hair on the nape of my neck
After finishing her task of feeding her cat, Rozita returned to her room but as soon as she opened the door, an unusual stench hit her nostrils.
It was hard for him to describe the smell but it was quite strong and smelly and even he had never smelled such an aroma in his life.
"Satisfied, I wonder what caused the smell to be in my room? My room is clean, I never put food scraps in the room trash or keep dirty clothes in the room
"So where did that strange and foul smell come from?," he asked.
Reluctant to think too much about the matter, Rozita went straight to the bathroom to take a shower, not to mention that she was caught in the rain and also took ablution for Isha prayer.
Although she felt that something strange was happening, seeing the reaction of one of her cats entering the room in a casual state, Rozita felt that the smell was not caused by the disturbance of a supernatural being.
"Cookie came in just relaxed, he didn't look here and there or change his attitude, ready to sleep soundly on the bed."
"But when I prayed to Usual, the hairs on the back of my neck were tingling, I felt like something was crawling behind me. Throughout the prayer, I prayed in my heart for God to save me from any disturbance and calamity.
"After praying, I prayed in a loud and firm voice so that anyone who is not a resident of this house is not welcome and does not get my permission. If they are stubborn, I will call someone to drive them away," he said.
Rozita also ended the prayer with the recitation of al-Fatihah, 3 Qul before blowing towards her room and the smell gradually disappeared after that.
Thinking about the cause of the bad smell
Before going to sleep that night, Rozita tried to remember what caused her to receive the disturbance and began to remember when she went out to find the direction of the cat's screams, it was still dusk.
Rozita remembered her mother's order, if you leave the house at dusk, don't go straight into the house. Ideally, sit outside for a while and recite a certain surah as a protection in case something follows it to enter the house.
"As for me, when I went out, I didn't think about anything else, I just wanted to save the cat and went straight into the house after that."
"Recite Bismillah and say hello before entering the house... Maybe something followed me in and hid in the room," he said.
The end.
