Earth to Jungkook!
Taehyung snaps his fingers at Jungkook, who had been deep in thought, to get his attention.
Jungkook finally snaps out of it but his shocked expression is still in place.
Jungkook's eyes focus on Taehyung's neck where he had been bitten.
The site has bits of dried blood but the wound itself is now covered in a scar resembling a bare cherry blossom tree.
His eyes drift down to Taehyung's arm where the other bite wound has a similar scar.
Taehyung lets out a loud sigh of annoyance.
Taehyung
I'm obviously not dead if I'm standing here talking to you.
Taehyung
You're having a fever dream and imagining this while you're in a coma at a hospital or something.
Jungkook looks mortified.
Taehyung shares an equally mortified look before bursting out in laughter.
He wipes away a stray tear.
Taehyung
You were always so gullible.
Taehyung
It's good to see that you haven't changed.
Taehyung
Anyway, where's the food?
Taehyung asks again, directing his attention to the bare cupboards.
Taehyung
Is that how you lost all that weight?
Taehyung
Starving yourself?
Jungkook
For your information, I was going out to buy food but then the zombie apocalypse happened.
Taehyung
If being attacked by a zombie didn't kill me then surely starvation will.
Jungkook thinks for a moment.
Jungkook
I have some snacks in my room.
Taehyung, who is famished, is willing to settle for any kind of sustenance.
Taehyung
What are you waiting for?
Jungkook pouts, regretting telling him about his secret stash of snacks at all.
Jungkook
Alright, alright.
Jungkook trudges toward his room.
Jungkook
Can't believe I'm being bossed around in my own house.
