Chapter 2: The Fiance

"Just what did you do to Duchess Cintani's party last night Cecelia? I heard from my friends in a Tea party that you embarrass yourself again? Again?! Cecelia?" her mother shouted at her.

" i am going to lock you up in two days and You won't eat anything " Cecelia got startle and fear what her mother said.

"mother please don't lock me up again, please mother." She beg but Her mother just cross her arm and look at her disgustedly.

"mother please, i will do my best next time, please don't lock me up."

"Guards!!!" then two guards went in.

"lock Lady Cecelia in the basement for 2 days and no one is allowed to feed her. " the two guards held her arms and drag her.

"mother please, no! mother!!" she whine while crying.

Cecelia was brought to the basement of their mansion since yesterday and true to her mother's words no one feed her she is starting to starve. Of course what does she expect? all the maids was with her mother. In this house she is powerless and useless.

Her adopted parents only interested with her because of the Salvatore inheritance that her parents left to her.

"just a little more, you need to endure it just a little more." She said to herself desperately while trying to stop her tears from falling.

She just look at outside of her window, looking at the full moon and the stars around it.

The Next day her mother freed her.

"make yourself presentable Cecelia you are going to meet with Marcos, make sure to seduce him." Her mother said, seduce? She doesn't even know that word. Marcos Leinen was the first son of Duke Alex Leinen her fiance. But they are not in good terms, Marcos hates her so much.

Cecelia ride the carriage going to the Leinen House to have a Tea with her fiance again. Cecelia sigh deeply since she is going to see her cold hearted fiance again.

Why do i need to see him again? I don't like talking to him. She said to herself.

When her carriage arrive a butler help her and lead her to the garden where they usually had their boring Tea time.

" His grace is waiting for you lady Cecelia" their butler Ron said as they walk at the rose garden. She can't stop herself admiring their beautiful garden she heard the Duchess is the one who personally tends this.

Not far away from their direction she saw her Fiance standing near the fountain wearing his usual white Tuxedo. Marcos is tall and well build, his silver hair match well to his clothes and his red eyes are like rubies. He is like a God that came from Mt. Olympus.

"your grace, Lady Cecelia has arrive" the butler announced. Marcos look at her blankly. And signal Ron to leave them.

"good morning Your grace" she greeted him but she got no reply from Marcos. As always. He hates her. He is so against this marriage after all. Only her mother insist due to the friendship of Salvatore and Leinen that we are engage .

The two of them seated across each other like a statue that cannot talk. They are the worst pair.

"are you also planning to enroll in St. Adelaide Magic School your grace?" she ask in a shy manner Cecelia cannot talk confidently that is why she has a hard time having a conversation.

"yes, don't tell me you are attending that school too? Tss don't ever try it." He said as expected Marcos is underestimating her.

"m-my mother will enroll me there."

Cecelia was surprise when Marcos suddenly slap his cup on the table that cause his tea to spill and the cup to broke.

Cecelia was shock and scared while looking at the mad face of Marcos.

"don't even dare Cecelia! You already ruined my life by trying to tie yourself to me so don't even dare try to follow me in school. go to other school." he shouted.

"B-B-But, i A-already pass my application" she said while stuttering that made Marcos more angry.

"Stop it!! I hate you Cecelia!!! I hate you so much this engagement is bullshit! And i will do my best to break this off." He shouted again and left me alone. He really despise her.

"stupid!" she whisper. And her eyes begin to change its color.

"Lady Cecelia!" one maid came to her. That made her back to her senses

"are you okay milady?" she ask.

Cecelia just gave her sweet smile to the maid.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking." She said and sip her remaining Tea.

NOT so far from the rose garden of house Leinen two person is looking at them and saw how  Marcos shouted and despise Cecelia.

"hehe everything is according to plan." She said.

" yeah, she just need to endure it a bit." The other person said.

"let's go back before someone seen us." And they both vanish with the use of magic.
