\~ A week later\~

“No more..I’m...tired” he was having difficult breathing

But his stamina is getting better

“That’s it for today” I lower my sword down

“Finally..I’m dead” he layed himself on the floor while breathing in and out “My bones..you’re gonna exhaust me before the party”

“That’s the point you’re highness” I smile sarcastically it’s only so he gets better, there will be a test waiting for him a sword fight

That’s why he need to improve or he’ll lose and in the presence of the king

They do say some habits die hard, I should stop with that habit just thinking what kind of interesting people we’ll meet in the party plus..the king I wonder if he’s old...

“I’ll go study then while you’re thinking” he stands up and starts walking inside the mansion

“Don’t forget to finish all the assignments you’re highness!” I shout to him

Which he turns around and fulminates me with his gaze and then turns to walk again

I guess I deserved that I did give him a lot of work well that’s part of learning he’ll get use to it by the second week after one more week left before the dance

“Things are getting better guess you’re a good teacher after all” she said amused

“I used to tutor other students while I was studying for some important tests” I say

“Well I guess that’s good because of that you can teach the prince” she smile “and we won’t need one of those royal tutors bastards” the way she said it, like she was disgusted by them

“You hate the royal tutors?” I ask curious

“I do honestly” she said

“Why?” I say

“Let me show you” suddenly my mind goes fuzzy and I’m in another room I can’t move the only thing I could do was watch not even a word could I say

But there I could see the prince was chained

His hands were chained but his legs weren’t

He was getting whipped by a man who looked old he kept hitting him but the prince he didn’t show any sign of feeling pained

“Why did I have to be assign to you curse bastard!” He kept repeating the same frase angrily whipping the prince with the lash

It was truly horrible scene to see...so if I hadn’t come that would be the upcoming...I could not stop my tears from coming...how could someone be so cruel to a young boy?...This only reminds me of my uncle

Even though he didn’t inflict any physical damage on my body...he did it mentally..just how I broke when I found the truth

Just then I hear another whipped going that makes my shake instantly of the fear

“Curse bastards like you don’t deserve to sit on the throne” he spits on the floor to then give a smile of pure evilness “You’ll just have to sit and watch you’re brother take the throne from you” and then he started laughing “Hahahaha you’re just pure trash” he looks at the prince with a mocked smile

Which for a minute makes the prince stare at that man in pure hatred, to which the old man retreats a few steps back

“You’re nothing with out you’re father” he nervously said “As punishment for you’re rude behavior you’ll stay here” he spit once more

“and you don’t you dare give him any food either he doesn’t deserve it” he pointed at a women who clearly looked like the nanny

“Yes my lord” she courtly said cold as ice

He hit the prince once more and left...them the woman burst into tears

“I’m sorry your highness I-I couldn’t do anything” she many tears started coming down her cheeks

This voice...it’s you?!?!

“Yes it is me” she said coldly “I was such a useless person I couldn’t do anything but watch” she wanted to cry her voice cracked so I knew she wanted to

She is a pretty woman

I never thought I would see you’re appearance...

“That was a very important memory of mine “ she whisper “the only thing I could do was heal his wounds give him a little bit of food...as his nanny I couldn’t do anything more...”

Then everything became dark and as if I was in a dream I opened my eyes again I’m at the same place I was before

“Now you get why I hate those bastards?” She repugnatly said

“Yes I understand..but if you’re his nanny why aren’t you with him right now?” I asked it was weird if she was with him before why isn’t she with him again

“I can’t be with him” she said coldly

“Why not?” I’m getting confused why can’t she

“That’s it for today maybe I’ll tell you more if I feel like it next week” she said and her presence in my mind dissapear

I tried calling her many times but it didn’t work I sighted now then I finally felt the sensation of my cheeks being wet

The tears I forgot about them..I clean them with my sleeve my eyes still puffy because of the scene I saw I didn’t regret seeing what I saw

But it was truly a cruel thing to see and watch

That just means there’s a long way to go before I discover every single thing why i was chosen to do this and many other things...but I’ll have to be patient

With that in mind I walk back to the kitchen to prepare some desserts for the prince

And well that’s how the first week ended with me discovering something new about the prince but there was more and I was not going to give up just because there’s so many questions I have...

I will learn the truth...something in me tells me I need to do that..
