Chapter 16

“You...don’t need to...know” she sighs and just stays quiet

I hate this..she’s hiding a lot from me...why can’t I know?! I came to this world knowing nothing and the only thing I know is I need to save the prince..and something inside of me tells me I need to go to him..

Ugh why am I so confused..this feelings..I don’t need them I just need to get rid of them..a few deep breaths will help me..

\~5 Minutes Later\~

I don’t need them I don’t those no more

As my father once said “Hide your emotions show no fear” I keep repeating those lines in my mind making my emotions go numb and go as before a person with no emotions

That’s it..I don’t need them...

I need to keep my emotions in control like I did before I got here...I take a final breath and decide to walk back in

“Damian talked about a party right?” I say in my mind not minding the fight we just had

“Yes he did, while you were busy thinking I heard it’s going to be in a month” she said

“Then we’ll need to teach him and prepare him” I’ll need to get some supplies

I head to the library for some books in each subject

(Reading, Writing, Politics, History etc.)

“Are you gonna make him practice a sword?” She asks

“Yes I might but in this month he needs to learn a lot of things” I say walking to the prince rooms

When I get there I knock

“Come in” I hear the voice of the prince

I open the door to see him resting in his bed

“It’s time to start you’re lessons you’re highness” I say putting down some books I took from the library

“Lessons?” He looks at me confused “Aren’t I just supposed to learn how to use a sword?” He doesn’t want to study that what I can tell by his expression he was daring me to make him study

“So then you’re highness we’ll start with you’re lesson today” I say looking at him

“I don’t want to” he covered himself with the blankets “it’s unnecessary” under the covers he said

“Well excuse me, but it’s not up to you’re highness to decide that” I pull the blankets off “Well then let’s go” I carry him like bag even though he’s thirteen he’s not that heavy

He keeps kicking and struggling but I keep walking until I get to a room where there’s enough space for the prince to study with the books in the other hand

I make him sit in one of the chairs and put the pile of books on the table which then he just looks at me with pure hate

“I won’t do it” he just looks aways gazing to the side avoiding my gaze

“If you don’t study you’re highness you’ll never surpass you’re brother” I know that hits something in him he wants to surpass his brother

He immediately looks at me

“Studying won’t help me surpass my brother” he says coldly

“Are you sure you’re highness?” I say making an inoccent voice “or are you just gonna let you’re brother take the throne?” I say smiling

His eyes instantly look fiercer than before

“Fine...but if it doesn’t work you will pay for it” he looks at me smiling cheekily

“Fine by me you’re highness, then should we start?” I give him a little smile

“Sure, let’s get this over with already” he says crossing his arms

“Well then we will” I say and start grabbing a book which I give to him to read he hates it but reads it

\~ Hours Later\~

“I’m exhausted” he stretches his arms “this is why I hate reading” clicking his tongue he says

“Well atleast you’re highness read 15 chapters of it” I try to cheer him up “and now to summarize it why don’t we do a kick test on it?”

“Ugh fine” he sits there waiting for me to finish writing the questions on paper

“Here then” I give him the paper with the questions then he starts answering them

After that we did a little more of every subject and a little lesson on sword fighting

It was truly an exhausting day for the prince for me it wasn’t because I had done this before but he went to sleep almost immediately after getting to bed

That was the end of the first day of studying

His abilities were still lacking in some subjects but we could improve
