Episode 7

On the other side of the Atlantic, Isabella arrived at her great-aunt Sara's house after driving for 12 hours. As soon as Sara heard a car approaching the house, she came out. It was a beautiful morning, and as soon as she saw the car, she recognized her little Isis returning home. Sara, 65 years old and widowed for 5 years after her beloved husband Jorge was taken by cancer, had never had children. The only family she had left was her brother, who was quite grumpy (Isabella's grandfather), and her little Isabella (Isis).

As Isabella got out of the car, she ran to hug her.

" My dear, it's so good to have you here."

Isabella burst into tears, " Oh, auntie, if only you knew. I couldn't contain so much pain."

" My dear, calm down, you're scaring this poor old lady. Come, let's go inside, I'll make you some herbal tea to calm your nerves."

They entered the kitchen, and Sara started preparing the tea, " Now, tell me everything, my dear."

" I'm pregnant, auntie, and Jed doesn't want his child." Isabella broke down in tears again. After a few hours of talking with her aunt, Sara accompanied her to her room.

" I'll only stay for two days, auntie. I need to think, and then I'll leave."

" You're not going anywhere. This is your home. If that scoundrel doesn't want his child, your aunt is here to help and take care of you. Don't even dream of me letting you go," replied Sara.

Isabella lay down to sleep; she was so exhausted that she didn't have time to think.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic in the city of love, Jed woke up after a night of passion, only to find Marixa missing from the room.

Jed smiled, "It's a good start!" he exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Marixa was in her bedroom. After much thought, she had made the decision to give Jed some space, or rather, make Jed think that she only wanted casual sex. When he let his guard down, she would "accidentally" get pregnant. For now, her main objective was to completely get rid of Isabella. She picked up the phone and called Jed.

" Good morning, Jed. I just wanted to let you know that some documents arrived, which I already read and printed. You have a video conference at noon with Alexander Lombardo regarding the field purchase."

" Thank you, Marixa. Order me breakfast and bring the documents," he hung up.

" This is how life should be, just fucking without romance or commitment," she smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror while shaving.

The rest of the trip went smoothly. They would leave for New York that night, where Leo awaited with all the information about Isabella. He hadn't found her, but it wouldn't be difficult. She only had a grandfather, and with surveillance or phone interception, it would be a matter of days.

They departed for the airport, where Salvatore's private jet awaited them. The flight was calm, but halfway through, Jed had the brilliant idea of having sex with Marixa in the bathroom, something quite noticeable to the flight attendant.
