Episode four

ALIA’S POV

I walked through the school ground towards the school building. I was finally back after so many years; it was finally time to take my revenge on the west gang for what they did to my parent. I would have done it the easier way of just attacking the west gang and killing every one of them, but then I wanted him to feel the pain I felt when he killed my parent, and that’s what brought me to hallow musical a school for singing. When my uncle informed me that I would be coming here to keep an eye on Nathan’s daughter I was quite happy because I love music a lot. Speaking about music I think I left my guitar in the car. I love that guitar a lot because a very special someone got it for me and I sure as hell not leaving it behind. I turn around and headed back to the parking lot but on my way there I bump into someone almost losing my balance but I manage to steady myself. “I’m so sorry” the unknown person apologized quickly. I ignored him not even bothering to look up at him as I walked away.

I was now heading to my dorm room where I knew jade watterleyes must have already arrived I hated her more than I hate her so called father to think I used to love her a lot as a sister and she stab both me and my parent in the back I’m going to make her pay in blood. I wore a hoodie to cover my face because I knew that if jade sees me she might recognize me and I don’t want that. I pushed open the door to my dorm room gently to come face to face with three curious looking ladies they seem to have been talking about something serious but it really doesn’t concern me. I stared at them from the brown haired girl to the black hair nerdy looking girl and then to the blond hair girl who happens to be jade watterleyes. “Well well if it isn’t one of Joseph’s dogs” and the bitch just couldn’t keep her damn mouth shut.

“Jade” the brown haired girl called warningly and I completely ignored them and went up to the last bed in the room, I dropped my guitar besides the bed and began unpacking. “Um___h_hi I’m Samantha sterling” the brown haired girl continued “that’s viviana adersini and that’s jade watterlyes” I didn’t bother looking up at her I’m here for business and not to make friends.

“You don’t need to introduce me Sam she might already know who I am” jade spoke again and I wish she would just shut the **** up because even her voice just makes me want to punch her face. God how I hate her but I still choose to ignore her I don’t want to cause a scene on my first day in school.

“What’s your name?” the brown hair girl asked. whoa she’s fearless; I will give her credit for that. Too bad I have a really bad memory in remembering names so I don’t quite remember her name but I choose to reply in other not to be rude.

“Alia Rhodes” I answered.

“It’s nice to meet you” she said and I nodded in answer.

“How rude” jade said but kept silent, and believe me I’ve never been more grateful to her for anything else. I just hope she doesn’t get on my nerves often.

After my unpacking, I lay on my bed with my hands at the back of my head and my eyes closed. It has been such a stressful day and it feels good to be able to have some rest. Shortly after, the bathroom door flew open and I guess it was brown hair because she was the only one who took a bath “aren’t you guys going to the party?” she asked

“What party?” jade was the first to ask.

“There is a welcoming party to be held at a hotel organized by the student president” she answered and I heard her moving towards the only closet in the room.

“You should have told me earlier” jade said getting up from her bed. I wasn’t surprise jade. loves party ever since we were little.

“Aren’t you getting ready?” brown hair asked probably to the nerd.

“I__ is it necessary?” the nerd asked, I guess she is the exact opposite of jade.

“Of course its necessary vivi don’t tell me you aren’t going” brown hair said.

“Um___ I___ I___ I don’t think so. I’m not really a fan of partying” she stuttered nervously

“Oh common vivi you have to be at the party you can’t stay here all on your own” brown hair said.

“I__ I__ I__” she stuttered and it was starting to get on my nerves if she doesn’t want to go she should just say so.

“You should go V it won’t be nice to leave you here on your on” jade put in kindly. Why is she being nice to them why is she suddenly pretending to be a saint.

The nerd; V as they call her, hesitated before saying “we___ well if you in__ insist” she replied “yeah we insist so go get ready and let’s get going”

“Alright” v replied unsurely before getting up.

There was a moment of silence until brown hair broke it “are you coming Lia?” she asked and I stiffed at that, I hate when my name is cut short all thanks to jade if you’re wondering.

“Sure” I answered as I got up from my bed my hoodie was still in place and I’m not changing, it’s just a party anyway. Brown hair sighed in relief. “Hey” I called and she looked back at me “don’t ever cut my name short again. Just call me Alia. Are we clear?”

She blinks twice, her expression held a mix of confusion and fear “um_ yes” she answered finally finding her voice. I got up and put on my sneakers, and after fixing themselves we were out of the dorm room heading for the party.

As soon as I entered the party, I looked around to see if we had entered the wrong party. Don’t blame me though because the party was wild too wild for a welcoming party. We separated and I just stood close to the wall watching everyone dance, couples making out in dark alleys as the loud music filled the party. Whoever organized the party must be insane. After a while I went towards the bar to get a drink. As soon as I sat down on one of the bar stool the bar tender asked “what would I get you dude?” ‘Dude’ huh he has no idea.

“A very strong drink” I answered. And I guess the bar tender was surprised.

“Whoa, a girl in a party dressed like this, many are dressed to impress the guys and you’re hiding under a hoodie” I completely ignored him. One thing I hate most in my life is a meaningless conversation.

He placed the drinks on the counter and then the guy besides me spoke up “hi I’m Ashton Cullen” he introduced himself, for some reason I find his voice familiar. I looked down at his outstretch hand. I don’t like it when strangers touch me so I ignored his hand and replied “Alia Rhodes” I didn’t want to be rude to the guy he looks decent though.

“Um___ I’m sure you are here for music is it to learn how to play an instrument or to sing?” he asked trying to start a conversation.

“Not your business” I said in a board tone wishing he would just take the hint and **** off.

“Um___ okay” he laughed nervously “I figured you must be the person I bump into today, I didn’t get a chance to properly apologize so I’m___”

I finally decided that I have had enough although I finally realize why I found his voice familiar but I really don’t care all I want now is for him to leave me alone “listen Andrew” I began unsure of the name I called him “I’m not interested in your apology so leave me alone”

He was silent for sometime but he replied “alright alia I’ll see you again” he stood up and walk away I didn’t even look up at him, I just hope we don’t see each other again he was such a pest.

I sat there for a long time drinking and thinking about my life. If my parent were still alive I probably wouldn’t be here seeking revenge and maybe jade and I would still be okay. I shook the thought out of my head because it turns out that she is a traitor and a back stabber. I was so immersed in my thought that I didn’t notice my brown haired roommate and my nerd roommate coming to seat on either side of me “hey Alia” the brown haired greeted a little too cheerfully and I noticed she is drunk. “have I ever told you that you look creepy with your hoodie on all the time” she said smiling to herself as if she just said the funniest joke in the universe And I’m really glad to know that I look creepy at least it would keep people away from me “tell me” brown hair whispered her mouth so close to my ear I don’t like people being so close to me. “Are you that ugly?” I looked at her thoroughly amused by her question. I just have to keep reminding myself that she’s drunk. I hid my face not only because of jade but also because I don’t like how I look not that I’m ugly or anything like that I just despise my face.

“how nice the air is in here” nerd said besides me too bad I forgot her name too soon and the last word to describe the air in here is nice so unless she is drunk or high on something. Suddenly she starts sobbing she is crying?

“What’s wrong vivi?” brown hair asked her from beside me as a result she was leaning on me in other to face the nerd who I just heard is called vivi.

Vivi sobbed harder and that was when I realized she is really drunk “Sammy I’m a bad person” she cried “I just have to fall in love with my best friend who’s girlfriend has been nothing but nice to me. I’m a bad person Sammy” she lost it and began crying heavily and I just shook my head in pity for her, falling in love is such a stupid thing to do. You will only get hurt and also end up hurting others.

“Yours is way better than mine vivi. Tate is my best friend and I love him but he just can’t see it instead he choose that bitch, Lana. God I hate her she’s always hurting Tate but he’s just too blind to see it” I could detect the anger in her voice; damn she must really hate the Linder girl. They both have a similar story if you think about it. Both of them are in love with their best friends who has girlfriends. It’s really stupid if you ask me, there are other boys out there for God’s sake.

“You both better keep yourselves sober if not you will be spending the night here” I said to them. I can’t stress myself in bringing them back to the dorm but they said nothing they were already unconscious on the counter and I groan in frustration I’m not that heartless to leave them here.

“I guess it’s up to us to take them back to the dorm” jade said from behind me and my fingers tighten around the glass I was holding if only she knew who I was or how much I hate she won’t even think twice about leaving me alone. I didn’t respond I wish she is the one drunk and lying down here I won’t even think twice about leaving her here. and that people is how much I hate jade watterlyes.

We walked towards our dorm room, the two best friend lovers on our back in a piggy back ride. Brown hair was fast asleep and she was drooling on me it was very disgusting because I could feel my hoodie wet from her drooling. I made it a mental note to take a bath once in the dorm room. We got to the dorm room and I roughly place the brown hair on her bed she muttered some words in her sleep of course I didn’t care about it or her. I quickly went towards my bed and took my towel and soap but one step towards the bathroom jade spoke up “you work for Joseph don’t you?” she asked And I couldn’t help but think how stupid she is to ask me such a question wasn’t it obvious I even remembered that when I arrived here she called me ‘one of Joseph’s dogs “he sent you here didn’t he?” she asked again and I choose to ignore her as I took another step towards the bathroom only for her words to stop me again “if your boss thinks he can try getting revenge on my dad for what we did to his brother then he better think again. In fact he should be grateful to my dad for helping him get harry out of the way at least now he is the leader of the gang and not harry” my fist clench in anger how did she become so cruel so mean ,so_ so evil. I felt disgusted how could she say that about my dad, our dad; the man who gave us life yeah we’re sisters but right now I felt ashamed to call her my sister how could she betray our gang. Although I don’t know why she did it I still hate her for I believe no reason should make a person betray his or her family.

“You know you haven’t changed sunny” I said using my pet name for her, a name only I and our parent knew about. I knew she was shocked as silence followed the remark.

“Who_ who the hell are?” she asked her voice shaky probably still in shock.

I smirk satisfy of her reaction at least that shut her up “you don’t want to know” I answered as I proceeded to walk towards the bathroom but I felt a cold metal at the back of my head, a gun, but I didn’t move I wasn’t scared at all I knew she won’t risk waking the whole building up by pulling the trigger. “You better tell me who you are or I’ll blow your brains out this very moment” she snarls angrily

“If you want to know who I am then find it out for yourself” I answered her trying not to say anything that would give me away

“Don’t play games with me alia I could kill you right now. So if you want to live then tell me who you are and how the hell did you know that name”

I sighed. She wasn’t going to stop asking “listen jade my identity is for me to keep and for you to find out so don’t ask” without waiting for her reply I walked to the bathroom and only when I was behind the closed door of the bathroom did I let out the breath I didn’t realize I was holding. I suddenly became worried what if jade comes to realize who I was, I would be in so much trouble. Gosh I shouldn’t have said anything to her In the first place but anyway I knew she wouldn’t realize who I was anytime soon because she saw my dead body on the day she killed our parent. I’m so thankful to my uncle for arranging it well.
