Since he agrees Jungkook doesn't really understand the reason behind why Taehyung looks so miserable when he paints
He didn't really think about it when he first noticed it because Taehyung was working on the commission which had him so upset that night
Weeks ago Taehyung was working on the commission A huge canvas with angry drags of metallic paints Taehyung was putting so much force in every stroke of the brush Jungkook thought that Taehyung wanted to rip the canvas open Jungkook didn't understood anything about that painting but again he never really understood modern art to start with
That day he attributed this anger and sadness to Taehyung's feelings about the commission about not liking the way it was coming out Taehyung even said something about the client being a piece of sh*t
But now Taehyung is not painting for commission today he is painting just because he wants to and he is painting with watercolors
Soft stokes wet paper napkins being dabbed on the canvas where Taehyung needs them he is painting what looks like a room with sunlight creeping in from the window behind white curtains And yet Taehyung paints with eyes that tells a story of a heartbreak which Jungkook doesn't know about
He replies and dips the brush in the glass of water then dries it just a bit on one of the napkin

Jungkook really isn't in the mood for a night out but here's the thing about Hoseok once he starts whining on the phone that he really wants to go clubbing with everyone and transfers the same exact discussion on their Kakao group chat then you don't left with any choice
So here he is now sitting on Taehyung's bed wearing a pair of jeans which looks clean and feels good and a crisp shirt which Taehyung gave him to wear

Taehyung is in his bathroom probably putting on makeup or more of that deadly golden powder on his cheekbones and collarbones just to fu*k with Jungkook's mental health

He says from the bathroom Jungkook can barely hear him so with a sigh he gets off from the bed and walks towards the bathroom
He quickly gets inside the bathroom and sits on the edge of the bathtub Taehyung Putting on lenses in his eyes

Taehyung grabs what looks like face powder he opens the lid and yep there it is its that goddamn gold powder

That's not being mysterious that's being terrible at being mysterious
Jungkook clenches his jaw as Taehyung dips one of his brush in that gold powder and then starts applying it not on his cheekbones instead he is applying it on his collarbone and once again the shirt he is wearing is so loose everything is just there on display gold on white milky skin this is gonna be the death of Jungkook

He puts the brush away and ruffles his grey hair a bit on which he spent an hour to style them and make them all look wavy

Namjoon's car is one of those cars who still work out of the power of sheer trust It's old as fu*k damaged as fu*k the engine must have seen more miles than any human has ever seen and it makes weird noises everytime namjoon presses on the brakes still it works which is all kinds of convenient and weirdly exciting
They once had a rode trip to Daegu in this car it felt like they were going to be stranded in the middle of the highway at any given minute the adrenaline was at its peak
He suddenly says his voice loud and deep to overcome the heavy hip hop which is blasting from the radio
