It would have been only 30 mins.. gguk’s eyes were finally closing.. he was tired from tonight’s party.. and the rush that he had to go through.. took a major chunk of him

But he couldn’t sleep.. as Sora rushed to him.. taking away his blanket and startling gguk..

Gguk was shocked.. he was speechless to be precise.. words suddenly has gotten stuck in his throat... a lot of thoughts run through his mind..

Firstly.. did the mayor died because of the party they attended..

Secondly, was that the man laying on the ground grunting in pain, Gukk saw earlier.. was the mayor..

If he was.. did he just witness the death of mayor..

Gguk was snapped back to reality when Sora shakes him..

Gukkie.. hurry up.. get ready.. we need to go to the townhall.. everyone is gathered there..

Please be quick.. we need to visit the mayor before his body is taken away..

Sora was shaking badly.. her tears couldn’t stop itself from flowing through her eyes.. she looked scared above all.. gguk just nods to her and starts to get dressed

After 15 min.. they both were in their car..

The drive towards the townhall was now fast.. he can see a lot of cars once his own reached down the end of the hill meeting the main highway..

Cars after cars.. all driving towards the townhall.. gguk gulps.. suddenly a sense of fear takes place inside him.. and he hopes deep down that the party which he attended wasn’t the cause of Mayor Dong wok’s death..

They soon reached just like the others.. everyone got down of their car.. Gukk and Sora walks to the front row to have a better view.. he sees his girlfriend and his family.. he greeted them.. IU hugged Gukk tightly, while crying.. this made the boyfriend a little jealous but he didn’t want to sound a heartless person so he consoled her.. yoongi was without any expressions, as if he knew someday the mayor will be killed.. well, yoongi did openly said the mayor was doing a shit job.. Jisoo, however, was different.. Jisoo looked scared for the first time to gguk.. and he finds it weird that Jisoo looks to the south, to the west, to east.. constantly.. as if she is looking for someone.. but unlike others whose whole attention is towards the north, facing the townhall..

Gukk still hasn’t seen the mayor’s body..

He looks right and left around the town hall and to the front giant door.. hoping to find Dong wook’s dead body come out anytime now..

But gguk soon realised that everyone is staring upward..

His own girlfriend and friends are doing the same in unison..

Gguk looks up too.. and he hears few screams among the crowd echoed.. apparently, they also looked upward at the same time as Gukk..

Gukk stumbled backward.. his heart beating fast.. his eyes widening as he sees the sight.. his whole body feels shivers.. he was deeply rooted on the ground just like others

Why?

At the top tower of the townhall.. where the euphoria flag which is bright navy blue with a fierce eagle at one side and a dove at the other side.. is usually kept, was painted in red..

The red colour was none other but the blood of the mayor Dong Wook..

At the tip of the flag.. stood mayor Dong wook’s head.. his body was definitely not there.. blood oozing out of his neck.. his eyes still open and staring as if looking at the people down..

He was lifeless.. as if a pale bloody mannequin only without body..

Yeah.. someone ripped him off his body..

The cops started to make arrangements to bring down what’s left of their mayor..

Everyone seemed to crying.. Gukk is too shocked to feel anything.. he has never witnessed a brutal murder like this ever in his life.. then again, he has never witnessed a murder at all until now..

Meanwhile..

On the south side cliff.. few people were watching the entire scene taking place in the town.. the distance between the cliff and townhall was probably 120 kilometers.. but still they could see everything crystal clear..

Brother 1: You really didn’t have to kill the mayor.. (frowns)

Brother 3: Well.. he wasn’t really doing a good job as a mayor.. I gave him an easy punishment (says sarcastically and rolls his eyes)

Brother2: I think this has definitely been the most joyful moment since we began our journey to here again.. (looks deeply towards the townhall)

Brother1: Our main goal is only to find the prophecy and to stop it from taking place..

Brother3: Ofcorse brother.. I am completely with you on this.. (says in a sarcastic agreement tone)

Brother2: so who is going to be the next mayor..

Brother 3: Ofcorse our big brother.. he deserves it.. he is always so modest and wise.. (says while nodding in agreement with his own sentence)

Sister1: what once again.. a woman has no right to appeal.. (frowns and says carelessly)

Sister1: once again women don’t have a right to voice.. (says with pretence of annoyed face)

Brother1: sister, do you want to become the mayor.. (Says gently)

Sister1: what me.. hahahaha (laughs like a maniac)

Sister1: no way brother.. What’s the fun in that.. I want to break rules here (licks her lips while staring darkly at the people in the townhall)

Brother1: we aren’t going to kill people.. we need to find the prophecy..

Brother3: Yes you two.. listen to big brother (puts his both hands on his waist and says with fake seriousness)

Brother1: I meant by you and your sister..

Brother2: you both are troublemaker..

Sister1: I can’t promise that.. if I see a good meat.. I won’t shy away.. (rolls her tongue)

Brother3: yeah.. yeah.. (rolled his eyes again)

Brother1: This is bad.. our enemies from the west.. won’t like our presence..

Brother3: I honestly want to feed on them... fcking a$$holes (grits his teeth)

Brother2: (holds brother3’s chin) you need to keep your head straight.. and focused.. family is first.. and we must protect us..

Brother1: He is right.. our enemies of the west.. are already pissed at us for killing Mayor Dong wook’s father and the blame was pinned on their tribe..

Brother1: I don’t want war with them at the moment.. especially not before we solve this prophecy..

Sister1: geez.. stop being so melodramatic

Brother3: Fine.. I will be careful..

Brother3: now who is hungry for some food? (Throws a body between them)

Brother2: whose headless body is this? (Examines the body)
