Episode 11: Prehistoric World: Day 2 Under the Cave

After Bryan and Braun sleep the on day 1 on that weird island. In the middle of the night, Bryan suddenly wake up and saw a glowing flying creature. Bryan thought it was just insect glowing, like a glow worm. Bryan look closely to that creature and it seems that it was a bunch of bird flying and glowing. The bird was also eating the glow worm. Suddenly, the glowing birds disappeared as they went to a darkest place of that cave. Bryan decide to go back sleep and Bryan also thinks that maybe tomorrow he can explore more about this cave.

The sun rises and the day 2 started. Bryan wake up and start to cook the leftover meat yesterday and pair it again with mushroom. Right after that Braun wake up to the smell of the aroma of the grilled meat with roasted mushroom on it. "Wow...smells good, I is that the meat from the hyena brother?" Braun asked. "Yes...I grilled it with the button mushroom" Bryan replied. "Now lets eat...Because I want to scout this huge cave and I want you to follow me" Bryan told Braun. "Okay...This is yummy" Braun said while eating. After the twins done eating they went on a journey to the depths of the cave. Bryan saw a narrow route were the glowing birds passed through. The twins saw a large portion of the cave where Bryan saw the cave hyena. Bryan and Braun was cautious since that incident about hyenas. Nonetheless, no hyenas showed up and they continuously walk to cave.

Bryan saw again, the glowing birds fly away and go to the another chamber of the cave. Braun also saw the glowing birds. "Wow...what is that?! Is that a glowing birds? But how are they glowing?" Braun asked many question. "Maybe, those birds mutated since they eat the glow worm or some kind of another species" Bryan replied. Braun followed the bird and arrived at the birds nest sanctuary. "Brother! come here, watch this their place where they breed and lay eggs" Braun said. "Hmmm...Why it is slightly dark, those birds just rely on the light of the crystal stivking to the wall" Bryan thought. Braun explore a bit and watch the bird from below.

Suddenly, they heard a cracking noise from below. "What is this an earthquake?" Bryan thought. Bryan slowly goes towards to Braun. "Brother, what is the thing below us?" Braun asked. Bryan slowly bend down and wiped the floor and Bryan froze after what he saw. "Don't move a muscle, Braun" Bryan said. "Why? just answer me brother" Braun asked. "Also breathe slowly, Braun" Bryan replied. "What...I don't know what you're saying" Braun replied while moving forward. The floor start to break slowly and Braun asked one more time. "Tell, me brother. What the heck is happening?". "Did I told you to...." Bryan said but suddenly the crystal floor got broke and they both fell down.

One minute later, both of twins still falling down. And start to talk to each other. "What the heck! we been falling for 3 minutes now?" Braun said. "Didn't I tell you not to move a muscle!" Bryan replied. "I would, If you've tell what's happening" Braun said. "Okay, Now listen. Those birds lived there to avoid predators. Some animals know that those crystal are super thin and they don't want to die. So, some animals just stay away from that place. But!!! Now we're still falling" Bryan replied. "Ohhhh! I get it now. So, its a trap for predator like us" Braun replied. "No...you didn't get it. It's a warning that would the predator that this place is dangerous" Bryan said madly. "I hope we fall on a water" Bryan said. "What if we didn't fall to a water?" Braun asked. "Of course, we died" Bryan replied.

However, Bryan and Braun felt that there some droplets of water fell on their faces. "Yes!!! were save, it's water and that means that below us, is a deep lake or a deep river" Bryan said with relief. "Yey...we're save!" Braun also said it. "Shut up...this is all your fault" Bryan replied. Few minutes later...they arrived at the lake and fall into it. They swim fast towards to the shore but there was a big creature on front of them just pop up. Braun swam on the other part of the lake. Also Bryan swam fast than Braun because he was afraid of that thing.

"Brother, tell me what is that thing that we saw?" Braun asked while swimming fast. "It was a Elasmosaurus, the first recognized member of this group of long-necked plesiosaurs. Elasmosaurids were well adapted for aquatic life, and used their flippers for swimming" Bryan replied. "Wow...you did study a lot brother!" Braun said. The twins reach the shore and got away from that creature. They got tired and take a rest. While taking a rest, Bryan saw a light which is from the crystal that indicates that if light keeps bright it morning and if that light became dark, it's already night.

Suddenly, the light slightly got dark but still bright. Braun decide to hunt some food on the nearby lake and Braun saw a big fish. Braun spear the fish and wanted show it to Bryan. Braun keeps hunting that fish and got many fish. Braun came back to show the weird fish he caught from the lake. "Brother, I caught some weird fish. What is this?" Braun said. Bryan already done preparing fire and got shocked after he saw what Braun brought. "What...Is that, Pharyngolepis is an extinct genus of primitive jawless fish that lived in the Silurian period of what is now Norway. How did that end up here in this period?" Bryan said. "Can we eat it? Brother" Braun asked. "Well...Yeah lets cook eat" Bryan replied.

They cooked the food and eat it. As time past the crystal turns into a blueish light and Bryan told Braun to sleep since it's already night.
