Kaoru Kanade's Pov

I woke up and see that Tatsuya isn't there. But he left a note.

I'll be in the office for the day. Go talk to some pack members and let them get to know you.

After reading the note, I got up and walked to the closet. I grabbed a matching pair of bra and panties and slipped them on.

I put some lotion on my body to make it smooth and picked out a white romper. It was strapless and I tightened the drawstring. I picked some brown and gold sandals. I put on my gold studs. I went to the bathroom and straightened my hair. I put on some eyeliner and mascara and some lip gloss.

I left the room and walked down the halls and turned to the right. I remembered the path to the kitchen from yesterday. I walked down few more stairs and made my way into the kitchen.

Everyone bowed to me when I walked in.

"Oh, please don't bow down to me," I say.

Everyone comes up and they are smiling at me.

I smiled back and suddenly felt a pair of tiny arms around my legs. I look down to see a little boy that couldn't be older than the age of five.

"Good morning Luna!" He tells me excitedly.

I got down on my knees and greet the little boy.

"Hi! What's your name?" I say back.

"Yui!" He says excitedly.

I see a woman looking around frantically and then she notices Yui and rushes toward us.

"Yui let's not disturb the Luna," She says to Yui in a soft voice.

"It's fine, actually I was wondering if I could hang out with Yui today?" I ask.

I want to get to know the little cutie who grasped my attention.

"Luna are you sure?" She asks looking weary.

"Positive," I responded.

Yui and I hanged out all day. He is so sweet and has great manners. He is always smiling, helping, and talking to someone.

We went outside and we played tag and hide and go seek with the other pack kids. I can tell he had fun because of the toothless smile of his face.

He is such a sweet kid, that I know that I would want my own child to be the same. I wonder how many kids Colten wants? Maybe two or three? Does he even want kids? I hope he does because I want plenty.

I held Yui in my arms while we were standing on the dock . He had fallen asleep while we watched the sunset.

I feel arms wrap around my waist and I thought it was Tatsuya. I lean in only to not feel sparks. I turn around and see a boy about 16 smiling at me.

"Hey babe wanna have some fun?" He asks flirtatiously.

"No thank you," I say and try to walk away but he pulls me back.

I tried to get him to let go while trying to keep Yui asleep. Struggling against him. I feel him tighten his arms around me.

"Let go!" I yell careful not to wake Yui.

"Nah I think I kinda like this position babe," He says.

But before I got a chance to reply I hear a loud growl. It shook the dock, that can only mean one thing. Tatsuya.

"Let her go." He says and I know immediately that his wolf has taken over.

"I said let her go!" Tatsuya yelled.

The boy let go and looked like he just shit in his pants. I set Yui on the hammock and rushed toward Tatsuya.

He was growling and his eyes have turned yellow almost golden like meaning he was pissed. I wrapped my arms around him and hug him as tight as I could and he was still growling and ready to kill the boy.

He walked over to him and grabbed his neck. He holds him in the air and chokes the life out of him. I try to calm him again and rubbed his back.

"Hey sweetheart, calm down for me please?" I ask softly.

He glances at me for a second but continues growling at the boy. I get in between them and I rub my hands up and down his biceps and squeezed slightly. Now I know what they mean when they say Tatsuya is scary. No he is frightening.

"Tatsuya look at me. I need you to calm down okay." I said in a shaky voice.

I am almost about to burst into tears because of how scary he looks. I am sure my fear is coming out in waves.

Tatsuya then senses my fear and looks down at me. Taka, his wolf, is still in control. He looks at me and growls. I flinched and he seems to understand that it's him scaring me.

He pauses and drops the boy down (not lightly I might add) and pulls me close. He sniffs my hair and I felt his heartbeat. I look up and see that his eyes are closed. He opens them and I see the pretty blue ones.

He looks up expecting to see the boy but he is gone. He looks at Yui and I see a small smile appear on his face. He snuggles me closer.

I rub my head on his chest and he growls. He lets go of me.

"I will be in our room," He says and I nod.

He walks away and I pick up Yui. He is still sleeping soundly. I walked back into the pack house and see Yui's mom, Tsubaki conversing with Queen Koemi.

Both turned their heads when they hear me approach them. Tsubaki comes up to me and takes Yui from my arms.

"Thank you, Luna, it has been a long time since I have seen Yui smile that much," She says.

We have gotten to know each other a bit lately. I now know that I can trust her with anything because of the kindness she radiates.

She offers me a seat at the table and starts to tell me what happened with her and her mate.

Basically Yui's father left after he found out that Tsubaki was pregnant at 20. He left her for another woman and ever since it has been her and Yui.

I can see the pain she is in from the rejection of her mate. Yui is the only reason she has to live. Otherwise she would have killed herself, as she said.

A while later, I bid my good byes and I head upstairs to my room. I walk in to see Tatsuya sitting on the couch watching TV. I walked over to the bathroom to take a shower. I locked the door and started the shower.

I step in and relax for a while. After my long shower I wrap a towel around myself and brush my teeth. I reach for my clothes only to see that they are not there.

Shit! Now I have to go out in front of Tatsuya and grab some clothes. Maybe I could just sneak out. I opened the door slowly not making any noise and tiptoed to the closet. I open the closet door only for it to squeak a little bit.

I turn around and check on Tatsuya. He is still watching TV. I opened it a little more, when suddenly I am slammed into the wall. I looked up to see Tatsuya standing in front of me smirking.

He leans in and kisses my neck. I squeezed my toes to hold in a moan.

"What do you need sweetheart?" He draws out slowly.

I then remember what I came out here for. Clothes. I tried to push Tatsuya only for him to not budge. I groan and pushed even harder and he is still not moving.

I hear him chuckle as I struggle more.

"As much as I love to see you struggle against me babe, I will consider letting you go. On one condition."

"What?" I draw out slowly.

"Come with me on a date."

A date hmm, sounds nice.

"Sure, now can I go?" I ask nicely.

"No," He says and quickly pecks my lips.

"Hey! That's not fair! You didn't hold up your share of the deal," I say.

He chuckles and lets me go but not before pecking my cheek. I walked in the closet and threw on a t-shirt and some spanks.

I walked out and saw that Tatsuya is already in the bed. I walked over and get in with him. I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep.
