Cozying Up

Kaoru Kanade's Pov

I look outside, and see the sun setting. I put the notebook on the side table and get dressed for bed.

When I finished I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I say.

The door opens and a lady with blonde hair and green eyes sits down beside me.

"Luna I give you my graces, and want to know how are you settling in," She says.

What she means by giving her graces is that she approves of Tatsuya and I.

"Thank you and I am actually doing alright," I reply.

We talk some more and I now know her name is Enma and she is mates with Mitsuo. Well great! Someone else I can talk to.

At least for now.

I lay down and close my eyes ready to sleep but can't. I look at the time and see the it's 2AM.

I groan internally and get up. I walk out the room but not before checking my surroundings. I walk to Tatsuya's room and open the door quietly.

He is sleeping soundly, his face pushed into the pillow with an arm hanging off.

Cute.

I turn around when I hear him say something.

"Come here."

I walk over to the bed and he pulls me down. I am stuck under his arm and he pulls me closer.

Umm... what to do now?

I look at him and see he is sleeping soundly. He seems comfortable so why am I not?

"Kara?" I call out to her.

"Yes?"

"I can't sleep."

"Breathe in mates scent and you will fall asleep."

I do as she says and breathe in his scent and dose off onto cloud nine.

Tatsuya Shoji's Pov

I woke up to see my mate curled into my side sleeping. I have waited 3 years to find her. She looks so perfect, sleeping beside me. I let my hands roam up and down her side.

I can't wait to see her become Alpha Queen or become my wife. I can't wait to see her become round with my pups in her belly, or having our first kid together. I can't wait for our child to walk or speak and then graduate. I want us to become old and enjoy life together.

I feel her move beneath me and made a small noise.

She is too cute. And she already has me wrapped around her little finger.

I look down to she her beautiful chocolate eyes.

"Hi," She says with smile.

"Hi," I say back and she giggles.

That sounded amazing.

I roll us over so that I was on top and nuzzled my head in her neck. She smelt like cherry blossoms and vanilla. I felt her run her hand through my hair tugging softly.

"Tatsuya, where are my parents?" She asks and I raise my up to answer.

"They had to go back to your pack and deal with some problems."

"What problems?" She asks.

Koaru Kanade's Pov

"What problems?" I asked him.

"Um some rogues were spotted on the land and they need them to go track it," He said scratching the back of his neck looking at me nervously.

I just sit there in shock because they left me here, alone without a goodbye. I feel tears well up in my eyes. I try not to let them fall because I don't want to cry because crying is weak, as my father taught me.

A traitor tear falls and Tatsuya grabs me and pulls me to his chest wiping away my tears. He rocked us back and forth, calming me with each move. I look into his eyes and see sadness and anger.

What was he angry for?

"Why are you angry?" I ask my voice still shaky.

"Because they made you sad," He says in a tight voice. I grab his hand and rub it smoothly.

"I'm going to be okay," I reassure him.

He growls and picks me up. He takes me to the bathroom and sets me on the counter. He turns and walks towards the shower and turns it on. He starts to strip.

Am I like suppose to get in with him? I mean it would be nice to shower with him.

"You coming?" He asks, stark ***** I may add.

"Um," I couldn't finish that thought because he rips my t-shirt and panties off and picks me up. He carries me to the shower and gets in behind me.

I strain my neck to look into his eyes.

He has to be about 6'6 and I'm 5'1. Big height difference. He has to bend down to kiss me.

So lost in my thoughts that I didn't feel his hands start to wonder to my area.

I smacked his hand and growled at him.

"Ouch!" He yells rubbing his hand.

I turn around only to have him pinch my ***.

"Nice ***, babe."

He grabs my mid-section and turns me around pulling me closer. He grabs the soap and massages my back with it. I moan from how good it feels, forgetting that I am mated to a horny male.

He growls brings my lips into a kiss, quickly raising me up and pushing me against the wall. He kisses are rough and needy. He greedily kisses down my neck.

Anyway he kisses my neck roughly sucking making me moan. The water got turned off and Tatsuya carried me to the bed and set me down gently. He gets on top and starts kissing me again until the door opens.

"OH MY GOD! PLEASE PUT SOME CLOTHES ON! SHIT!" Mitsuo yelled as he entered our room covering his eyes.

I hid my face deeper into the sheets trying to hide my face, too embarrassing! Tatsuya chuckles at me after he growled at Mitsuo.

"Dude, hurry up your father wants you now," Mitsuosays and quickly closes the door.

I giggle as Tatsuya digs his face in my neck, his dark hair tickling me.

I heard him chuckle as he get up. He walks to the closet to get dressed. I lay on the bed wrapped in sheets.

Tatsuya came out the closet grumbling incoherent words. I see that he is still upset at his father from last night.

Hopefully everything's alright. I get up and almost squeal from excitement. I have never went that fat with a male, ever. Yes I am very unexperienced in the boyfriend department.

I stop my thinking and walk to the closet and pick out a shirt with some jeans and my black converse. I pull my hair up into a ponytail and wear a white bow. I leave and walk downstairs to the kitchen.

I walk in and everyone bows and I see Enma. I walked over to her and sat down beside her.

We talked a little bit and I noticed that she is very funny and silly. I finish the amazing breakfast and Enma and I walk to the office.

I was about to open the door when Enma stops me.

"You have to knock or it's considered 'disrespectful' and because the Alpha King doesn't like people coming into his office."

I knock and I hear a come in. I walk in and see Tatsuya and Mitsuo going over some papers.

"Let's take a break," Tatsuya says.

Mitsuo and Enma left the room leaving Tatsuya and I alone. I walked over and sat on the chair across from the desk. I curled my legs up and set my chin on my knees. I looked at him as he is signing papers.

He looks at me and catches me staring at him. I hid my face in my knees and heard him chuckle. A chair squeaks and I feel his arms wrap around me and pick me up.

He carries me to his desk and sits me on his lap. I look at the window and see pack members outside. Children running, women gossiping and men chilling out.

I been here for two weeks and have actually enjoyed myself. It's very different from my own pack at least I am somewhat loved here. And have more company and everyone is so easy to talk to.

I smile and turn around. I saw Tatsuya right in my face when I turned around. I gasp at our close proximity. I start to blush and face my head down.

His fingers bring my face back up and he gently kisses my lips. I kissed back.

Wait, I never wanted a mate.

My mind says, but my body doesn't agree.

I pulled away and laid my head on his chest. As I look outside again he rubs my back and legs.

"Does your dad hate me?" I ask.

"With him it's been different since she had died."

"Who?" I say before I can stop myself.

I hear him sigh. I covered my mouth and apologized. He takes my hand away and pulls me closer.

I didn't mean to make him upset. I feel guilt rush through me.

"You can tell me when your ready," I reassured him.

He nods and picks me up and sets me down. We walked out of his office and head upstairs to our rooms.
