Chapter 3

The music was so loud that it made my skin tingle and my lungs feel like mush. The ban thumped in time with my heart, beat, as though, they were one, filling me from head to toe with music. Over the roar of musk, a distant, hazy chatter could be heard. Neon lights were glowing everywhere like a police siren, but much more colourful.

Silence is my comfort, but here I am with my friend in this party. Why did I agree to this again? Yeah! Raven's puppy eyes, Fabia's gleaming look and Noah's persuading gaze got me here.

And now I am standing here all alone, and I don't know where they both are.

So in short yeah I am lost.

The makeshift bar, is loud with screaming guys and almost ***** girls enjoying shots. I don't know what is so cool about it. Anyways!

I snatch my eyes away from the bar to look around for Raven.

Gulping hard, I push my way forward through the throng of drunk, stinking crowd and finally make it inside the cluttered mansion.

Like Seriously they were the one who bought me here and now they have the audacity to leave me here alone. They are so dead!

"Fucking get off of me." voice of a  girl reaches my ears from the room next to me, I follow it taking myself into a dimly lit room. Stepping inside, I catch none other than Angela, pushed up against the wall by a big grumpy guy who was trying to force a kiss on her and she was averting it by budging him away from her. But that wasn't helping much because the guy denied to move. Typical males! Always horny!

I turned back around to leave just the way I entered telling myself - this is not my business.

But... I can't leave her alone too- ughhh!

I knew I wasn't a match to him but I can't just watch a guy have his disgusting fantasy become reality.

I look around, in an attempt to find something to drag the guy off. My eyes catch a glass bottle and without any second thought, I grab it, throwing it over his head. The bottle breaks into pieces as it clashes with his head as he growls in pain.

"Come on, let's go."  I grab Angela's hand running out of that awful space.

We reached the bar, and I asked the guy behind the counter for a glass of water. The second the guy places the glass on the counter, she takes it in a hurry and gulps it down.

I could tell she was drunk by her flaccid eyes.

"Thanks."  she finally talks and I nod at her in understanding.

I guess this is my cue to leave.

So I turned around walking into the sweaty crowd again. She shouted something but I couldn't hear her because of the loud music. But that wasn't much of a concern right now!

I need to find Raven and Fabia. Quickly!

Standing on my tiptoes, I scan over the heads of myriads of people when suddenly a heavyweight drops on my shoulder and I slowly turn my wide eyes to the side, capturing a guy with dirty blonde hairs smiling up at me through his hazel brown eyes.

"Hey! Sexy, what are you doing here all alone."  he slurred loudly in my ear and I push his head or more like throw him off of my shoulder. He falls down the instance he is off of me with a loud noise. Oops. I looked back at him to check if he was ok.

He was lying on the ground like a dead person. I guess he is... Doing... Pretty fine.

I decided to leave the scene quickly before he wakes up and in my haste to get away I fail to look forward and crash into someone but before I could land on my ***, a hand pushes forward and steadies me by holding onto my upper arm in a tight grip.

I'm saved from getting humiliated.

I look up to thank the person and the moment my eyes meet his, my smile grows wider. "Noah! Thank god! I found you." I hugged him as tightly as I could.

"What happened? Where are you running to" he asked laughing at my reaction.

"I can't find Raven and Fabia. Plus I wanna get out of here. So I was searching for them."  I explained everything in one puff making it mentally impossible for him to understand.

"Hold up- hold up, just nod ok." he said giggling.

I nodded.

"Better"  he said laughing.

"You wanna leave, right?" he asked and I nodded.

"Ok! * chuckle * how about you go out and wait For me. I'll be there with Raven and Fabia in a moment."

I nodded.

The night has fallen fast upon the land. No more than an hour ago the sky was painted with hues of red, orange and pink, but all colours had faded leaving only a matt black canvas with no stars to be looked upon. The cold breeze blew right through my clothes. The only things I can do is keep moving until Noah comes.

As I am waiting outside I hear a loud groan of a man. I look everywhere to find it's source. Aiming to find where it's coming from I take myself to a narrow and silent street away from the loud music.

The street was dark with flickering street lights making it difficult for me to see what's going on. The noise got louder as I walked towards it.

I notice some men standing in black coats with a person who kind of looked like there boss in between.

His body completely relaxed, while his gun pointing out on a man lying on the ground. I can hear there muffled talks but I can't make out what they are actually talking about.

I am really curious who he is.

But you know curiosity kills the cat.

I can't see his face at all, because of the street light streaming from above him making a halo effect around his face. But he moves a little forward making his face now visible clearly.

WTF!!

ACE?!!...

How??!!! This is not possible. It can't be. But he looks exactly like him.

This info is way too much for me to digest.

*Bang Bang*

I stumble from the sudden noise of the gunshot. Falling backwards with a loud cacophony.

****!!

I know they heard me. I am gonna die today! There is no doubt.

Shit ! Shit! Shit!
