Do I still love him?

Leo went back to his house wondering how Mia changed so drastically and weather she was telling the truth that her love died so long ago. He grabbed some wine from a cabinet and took a big sip. Just then his phone rang.

"hello?"

"Leo, you better let Mr. Markus buy your company's shares. it's high time you agree he's been asking politely, if you still don't agree I'll have to make you agree in the hard way"

"it's my company. My shares. Why should I agree? who are you anyway?"

"that doesn't matter. fine then but you'll regret this"

with this the stranger cut the call.

Leo didn't take this threat seriously because he had gotten many calls like this. He was worried about Mia. He wanted to see her so badly he tried convincing himself saying he would see her tomorrow anyway but his heart just wouldn't listen. "ok, I need to see her now or else my depression is gonna kill me" he thought as he sneaked into her house through her window.

She was sitting on a bean bag while texting someone and smiling at the screen. He couldn't bare the thought of her texting Nigel and immediately went in. She looked at him speechlessly and as he came closer "what are you doing here?" she stood up and asked.

She didn't know why her heart would still beat faster when he was around her. He came closer to her banging his hand on the wall behind her. "I thought I told you that you are mine?" he said looking into her eyes.

Her heart was beating faster and faster and she felt as if it was gonna fall out of her chest. She tried getting away but he blocked both her sides with his hands.

"What do you want?"

"you"

she blushed when he said this and he was overjoyed to see her blush because it meant she still loved him. "Look Mia, I know I did some unforgivable things to you in the past and I regret them very much. I really love you and I can't stay without seeing you for very long please forgive me this once I swear to always keep you happy" he said looking into her beautiful eyes.

He then slowly shifted his gaze towards her lips "I'll never let you go...." he said as he held her chin with his hand. She looked at his lips and blushed even more. "will you...." he said as he moved closer to her face "give me a chance?" he said moving even closer but still gazing on her plumping lips. She closed her eyes and he did the same. Just as their faces were inches away from each other Mia's phone rang.

They suddenly opened their eyes and Mia quickly shook Leo's hand and answered her phone. At this point Leo was very annoyed.

"Hey girl, come to your living room I'm too lazy to get up you from here so I just gave you a call just come down I have some popcorn and a perfect movie to watch" (heights of lazyness though 😂)

"o....ok....I'm coming..."

she said before Kiara hung up the call.

"I'm letting you go this time princess" he said with a smirk and left through the window. Mia just stood there "I should be feeling happy he left without doing anything, then why am I so annoyed?" "I guess Kiara could give me some advice" she thought as she went to her living room. She told Kiara everything and Kiara was mad at herself for interrupting and making it awkward.

"I don't get why I'm not happy, I feel like.....I wanted him to be with me, I didn't want him to go away"

"girl.....I think you still love him, think about it later on"

Kiara said before they watched the movie.

the question is, will Mia realize that's he still loved Leo? or will it be too late when she realises?
