Chapter 3: Friends unknowingly looking out for you.

Little did I know two people were looking out for me, Loki was horrified by my kidnapping. He ran all the way to the other side of the city while dodging cars and sneaking on to metro without paying. After an hour and two metro transfers later, he made to UNAM. He tracked Raúl using his vision sense that he can use to see time in all forms of the past, present, and future of anyone he made a contract with. He found him in a classroom on the fifth floor of the medical school department of UNAM. Raúl was at his desk giving a lecture on a type of antibiotic called Beta-lactamases (β-lactamases, also known as penicillinase), but instantly stopped when he saw Loki’s tired horrified look on his face as if something was wrong.

Raúl told the class to take a 10-minute break, then the class leaves the classroom. Raúl asks Loki in a concerted manner “Loki, what’s wrong?” Loki was crying for a few moments then calmed down for a moment “Anne got kidnapped! I failed as a guardian god to protect her.” Raúl was shocked and spat out all of his Coke A Cola onto Loki when he said this “What!!! Just talked to her.” Under his breath as he sank into his chair, he said this “Damn Anne, I told you to be careful! What the **** did you get yourself into my angel?” 

The class came back in from their 10-minute break then he spoke to them, but had a truly worried, but faking a calm tone of voice “I need to end class early today for a family emergency. We will pick this up again on Monday.” Right before Raúl started running the door, he noticed that Loki was having a vision then asked Loki because when he gets a vision his eyes turn to a blood-red from his normally brown eyes “What did you see?” Loki replied in complete terror of what he had seen but was trying to keep calm to find me “I saw that Anne was at high-end human trafficking auction called NI CHI SAY, but not that’s the worst part. The worst part is when she gets sold to the highest bidder is a known serial rapist and murder that everyone has been talking about for the past 3 weeks. You have been investigating with the police as a pharmacological pathologist, she will be violently raped and murdered. Three weeks later, you will see her on the autopsy table and you will be crying right when you see her. Lastly, a fellow doctor will find out she was murdered by being forced high concentration of surgical grade antibiotics causing a painful cardiac arrest.” Raúl replied, “We need to go find her immediately.” 

Under his breath, he said this to himself “Anne, I always knew you were a troublemaker and you have made mistakes with your Spanish. Such as a week before Valentine’s Day, Dra. Sol told the class “Not to worry about being single and it’s an overly marketed day.” You replied “Hey, don't be sad today! Just go watch a lot of graphic movies!” Everyone was shocked and laughed. You realized what you said and embarrassedly implied watching porn as you said the following “I meant go watch a lot of action films. I put my foot in my mouth.” After the class was over, I came into your class and was told the whole funny event that just happened and lastly, I laughed and you admitted the embarrassing moment with a cute look on your face and laughed as well because we are all human and we all make mistakes. But you don’t deserve the vile things that guy would do to you, because you are kind, have the tenacity to become a successful doctor and have an innocent heart.”
