"It's my case"

"I am asking you once again, my friend. Are you definitely sure about taking up this case🤔?", was asked by the Editor in chief of 'Double Check' newspaper, Mr. Swarnabho Ghosh.

The person sitting on the opposite chair smiles gently and gives a quick small reply, "Yes Sir, it's my case😎."

Now Mr. Ghosh just laughed out loudly and asked a genuine question, 'Tell me Dhurandhar, you already found any lead about that. 😂Right?"

The smile of that person became larger. "Yeah, you are right. I found one, but as you know me. I don't reveal my clues until I want, just as magicians don't speak about their tricks! So, now it's upto you. Am I going to get support from you or not 😃?"

Swarnabho Ghosh nodded his head positively. The meeting had reached it's end.

Dhurandhar Dhar, the crime reporter of 'Double Check' newspaper leaves the room with the solid approval from his boss. He is now ready to hunt down his new opponent. But, there is a little difference between earlier cases and this one. Normally, Swarnabho gives new case to him, but this time Dhurandhar took it on his own.

But why?

"At the end, it's a female! Hahahaha 🤣!!!", Dhurandhar laughs out maniacally in his head. He can't forget the quick experience of that rainy night at all.

That night was really a splendid one. The time was around 10pm. Dhurandhar Dhar was returning from office and the so called cat's & dog's rain was happening all around the world. Luckily, Dhurandhar's home is not far away from the newspaper office. Usually it's just 15minites a walk and that's the sole reason that the young crime reporter walks down the road everyday with a relaxing mind.

Though the atmosphere was quite different on that particular day but Dhar was returning in his usual style with humming a song and holding an umbrella. But, he had no idea about what's going to happen.

So, when the man with a hoody approached him with a knife, he was shocked at first. Really, who will think that this type of attack will come at a rainy night on a way, through which he goes regularly?

But, that person seemed determined of taking the golden chain from Dhar's neck. But, Dhurandhar is also a tough nut to crack. He was slowly moving his body posture to hit out the street thug at one go.

Suddenly, yeah as a quick turnaround of event, that goon was captured with a solid string on his neck from his back and after one extreme shake he banged on the ground, with all his life. Yes, he was dead.

Dhurandhar Dhar wasn't expecting that at all. With all his surprise, through the blurry street light, he saw someone on the street with a stylized rope in one hand. Other than the eyes, whole face of that person was covered with a charismatic mask. But, Dhurandhar can't forget those eyes at all. Because, though just one glance, but that was enough for him to know if it was a woman's sharp stare or not.

Dhurandhar couldn't imagine that before. Actually he heard stories about midnight killings of street thugs for somedays in the city. But, he thought maybe it is an undercover police operation or some random revenge story of any team of goons. But, that was not the case. There were several reports about what's going on the streets at night, but none of them had mentioned that it was a lone female warrior out there. Maybe there weren't enough eyewitnesses to confirm that. But, Dhurandhar knows it by heart now.

Thinking about that night, Dhurandhar was standing still in the front of Mr. Ghosh's room. From an 'excuse me', he came back to the real world. A support staff was trying to go in the chief cabin. Dhurandhar smiles apologetically and returns to his desk. He was thinking hard.

The young reporter scratched his head to control his mind in a certain way and hissed in his head, "This is my chance, Rita. You said that I am a male chauvinist, right? Ok then. It's my case. I, Dhurandhar Dhar, will hunt down that night bitch and will show you and your total woman empowerment movement, that a man still hold his own place of superiority, when he stands on his own."

Yeah, that was the starting point for all of this. Starting point for a battle, for a tactical fight, theoretical clash between right or wrong, or maybe between two different right or maybe between two different wrong or maybe something else 🤔? Well, only time will mark a confirmation on that.
