Chapter 5: Let her leave..?

Himari awoke the next day from the couch whilst Ren slept on his bed, it was 7am and then Himari tip toed away from the room and then got all of her belongings as everything was still neatly packed and then fled without a trace. She took her steps out of the house and then checked her phone to see a message for her and she was shocked as she hid behind a tree in the garden.

“I knew you’d try to flee” they mentioned and she looked around to see if they were there but had no understanding regarding their plans.

“How on earth do you know this..?” she enquired but they went offline and then it started to rain and she got out her umbrella from her suitcase and stealthily ran away in the rain, her ankle bled as she walked from her previous accident but knew she had to leave to save her dignity. She went back to her house which was a rare sight for her even though it had only been a day,

“My sweet home I missed you” a tear trickled down her cheek which was flushing red and then she went inside to place her things.

Meanwhile Ren turned in his sleep and finally awakened and as he did so he noticed the absence of Himari from the couch, he thought that perhaps she was hungry but to his deceit all her things were gone, and he clenched his fists.

“Shiro?!” he called out to his loyal guard who obeys his every order.

“Yes sir” he ran as though there was no tomorrow and curtseyed to serve him.

“Where did she go... did you just let her leave?!” Ren was torn to pieces in utmost anger and then Shiro spoke.

“Sir she had gone home we have tracked her location” he spoke confidently and appeared bold and then Ren smirked.

“Home huh..?” Ren looked down to the ground before responding to an anonymous message on his phone.

“Figured out too late huh?” there was nothing more to this message and Ren wished to learn who they were and their whereabouts immediately. Ren got our his raincoat it was 8:36 am and he knew there would be a thunderstorm that would occur past 9am from the weather forecast and knew that he had some errands to run as soon as possible.

Himari looked down in despair and wondered who sent her the message, her heart pounded very loudly and it started to rain even more heavily and then she finally heard lightning and remembered a painful night she had endured.

“No don’t go....... please no don’t leave me.... NOOOOOOOOO!!” she screamed without a thought and then heard a knock on the door and felt more anxious every time she heard the handle turn. she leaned against the door and sat down very shyly and was afraid to quite an extent, finally the door was smashed open and then she quickly dodged. The lightning flashed and she quickly embraced that person senselessly as she was incredibly perturbed and then was hugged back.

“It’s fine I’m here” a soft voice was then revealed and Himari looked up to notice Ren looking at her and then right back at her tear-lined cheek but she held on to him.

“Please let me stay like this for a while” she begged and then he patted her head.

“That should be my line” he spoke strictly and then the thunder finally calmed down and she felt more at ease. Ren grasped her hand tightly and then forced her on to the bed and then forcefully kissed her but this time out of pity and despair. Himari did not resist despite wishing she could but this time the sensation on her lips felt as though she was being poisoned or rather weakened, she held his hand in confusion and he continued kissing her and then she finally moved away, they were having an intimate moment until they both received more texts simultaneously.

“Smooch smooch your secrets are going to spill” it read and then they were both devastated. Himari then covered her mouth and instantly returned to her senses.

“What are you doing?!” she slapped his face and he remained emotionless.

“Do you resent me that much to stay far away from me?” he asked whilst looking into her eyes and then she replied with no hesitation whatsoever.

“Yes I do obviously” she looked away as she responded and that was more relieving to him.

“You’re a fierce tigress so why would you be afraid of thunder?” he rubbed his chin in curiosity and she appeared numb and idle and then finally answered his question.

“That’s nothing to be concerned about” she dodged the question and he banged his fist on the wall.

“It is my business!” he informed her and then she smiled warmly and he was surprised as her aura seemed more angelic and then she lost her consciousness.

“Shiro?!” he called and then they organised her things together and she was then carried by Ren as they gradually made their way back and then he received one final text that day.

“Allow me to carry her” the text made Ren furious and he almost thrusted his phone in anger but Shiro had a responsibility to take good care of everything that is rightfully his. Ren gazed at Himari who was motionless and still with both contempt and sympathy.

“This woman is driving me insane” he told himself.
