Ignore her. Just wait by Exit 5.
Arisa tucked her phone away, heart pounding. She’d watched these characters laugh, fight, bleed on screen. Now she was about to meet them.
And this time, there was no pause button.
Shibuya Station bustled with life. Salarymen rushed, neon signs blinked, and Arisa tried not to look like a lost child.
Then she saw him — messy pink hair, bright eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on her. Yuji Itadori.
Arisa?” he called, jogging up. His grin was so warm it disarmed her instantly.
Behind him came Megumi, calm and sharp-eyed, and Nobara, arms crossed with a skeptical glare.
Nobara
So this is the newbie,”
Yuji
She’s nervous. Don’t be mean.
Nobara

Before Arisa could respond, a familiar figure appeared — blindfold, lazy smile, waving like this was all casual. Gojo Satoru.

Yup, that’s her,”. “Our new little mystery transfer. Arisa, welcome to Jujutsu High.”
The campus loomed, hidden in its veil of magic. Arisa’s skin prickled as they stepped inside. She wasn’t just a visitor. The cursed energy in her veins thrummed, resonating with the barrier itself.
Gojo strolled ahead, hands in his pockets.

Normally I’d do the long introduction, but let’s throw you straight in. Nothing beats a little field practice.”
Nobara
Perfect. We’ll see if she survives.”

They arrived at a run-down apartment complex reeking of decay. The air was heavy with curse residue, like rot crawling under her skin.

Reports of disappearances. Should be a grade 3 curse. Easy warm-up.”
Inside, the halls were dark, walls stained. Arisa’s breath hitched as something slithered across the ceiling.
A curse.
It was grotesque, with too many limbs and a face like melted wax.
Megumi summoning his divine dogs. Yuji lunged forward with fists raised, grinning even in danger. Nobara readied her hammer.
Arisa froze, heart racing. This wasn’t anime anymore. This was real. The thing’s presence pressed against her chest, suffocating.
But then — her body moved. Power surged from her hands, black static rippling.
The curse turned toward her instantly, screeching, abandoning the others.

Why’s it targeting her?!
Megumi
It’s drawn to her energy.”
Too late. The curse lunge

The curse’s claws swiped—then met a burst of black sparks erupting from Arisa’s chest. The blast hurled it back against the wall, leaving a scorched mark.
Megumi
That wasn’t normal cursed energy.”
Arisa panted, trembling, staring at her own hands. The power still crackled, burning in her veins.
Subtle Sukuna Foreshadowing
Yuji staggered for a second, gripping his chest. His smile faded, eyes narrowing in discomfort.
Inside him, Sukuna twitched. Not awake. Not speaking. Just a shift, like a beast stirring in its cage.
Yuji said quickly, straightening. But his eyes flicked once toward Arisa.
As if some part of him — or something inside him — had reacted to her.
Arisa saw it. Her stomach sank. She didn’t need him to say the name. She already knew.
Sukuna had stirred.

She closed her phone, heart racing.
Arisa had wanted adventure once. She’d dreamed of what it would be like to stand beside heroes, to fight against curses.
But now that dream had teeth. And somewhere in the dark, the King of Curses had stirred in his vessel, closer than ever to noticing her.
Arisa gripped her necklace, the faint golden glow steady against her skin.
