His mind worked fast. The weight of the sheets, the scent of cheap detergent, the single desk by the window—this wasn’t his penthouse. This wasn’t even his world.

He exhaled sharply, dragging a hand down his face before sitting up

A cracked mirror on the wardrobe reflected a stranger’s features. Same face. Younger. Softer. The kind of beauty that was easy to underestimate. According to the story, this body belonged to a twenty-year-old university student. Weak. Mute in public. An easy target.

But he was not that Taehyung.

Shoving the wardrobe open, he pulled out a white shirt and black slacks. The meek Taehyung would have dressed in loose hoodies, head down, invisible.
