At The Hospital-

Dax had woken up a couple hours ago. And as expected, he had asked for August. Although he was quite sad for him leaving, he quickly cheered up when his uncles brought him his favorite plushie. It was a little bunny with long ears.

Declan and Mase had both seen August with Dax. They both exchanged looks and then looked at Callahan who was smiling at his baby while playing with him.

"Cal, what do you think of August?" Declan asked tentatively, trying to sound him out.

"He's okay. As long as he's good with Dax." Cal replied, unbothered about the thoughts in his brother's mind.

"I know, but what I meant was, I know you're bisexual. So what do you think of him as a man. I mean he's pretty, very attractive, and by the little talk he had earlier, he's probably getting divorced soon. And he was married to a man. So we know where he bends." Declan explained his point and Cal hummed, his eyes still on Dax.

"Plus, he really loves Dax. If not, he wouldn't complain about the nanny. Also, he didn't have to come here with you, but he did. And he stayed. Dax loves him as well. You saw how he forgot about us and held on to August like he was the father. If you want to wait for a while and then maybe just ask him out and see how it goes, we both won't mind. Plus they go to the same school." Mase put forth his thoughts as well.

Cal's smile froze and then looked at his brothers, who had nothing but genuine expressions on their faces. They weren't teasing him. They were looking out for him.

"I... I will see. But he's... Pretty." Callahan answered and then turned around, but Declan and Mase didn't miss the way his ears turned red. But they decide not to tease their brother.

If I want him, he will be mine. My son already loves him. I can try to love him as well. What's the big deal?!

Cal thought to himself and couldn't help but smile mentally, although his face remained expression less.

Soon after the IV was over, the Doctor instructed them on the precautions and follow up, and then all four of them left for home.

Meanwhile, Just Two Blocks Away From The Kane Estate-

"Sir, this is by far the best apartment we've seen. There's quite a high profile businessmen residing in the neighborhood which is why the facilities are top-notch and no problems at all." The agent explained.

The apartment was quite big with a living room area and the open-plan kitchen. The apartment was new and fully furnished with a sofa at the center of the room. There were three bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite and walk-in closet. The balcony extended quite far on all three bedrooms. There was some open space in front and back on the house, with a shed for car parking, it could easily fit in 4 to 5 cars.

August loved it the moment he entered the apartment. Even though a bit huge, it felt very homely. He smiled to himself and then agreed with the agent and they both signed the agreement.

Finn was quick to transfer the money and the same night, August moved out with all his stuff to his new place.

The divorce papers were signed, and he had moved out. Now there was only one court date remaining, and then he'd be free.

The so-called bitch boy was present when August moved his last stuff, although Finn's face was dark and expressionless.

"Alright then. Hope you both live happily together." August spoke with a smile and then left.

"It's good that he's gone. Now we can finally be together without any worries." The boy immediately snuggled into Finn's arms.

Finn too hugged him back and kissed his nose with a smile.

"Yeah, it's good that he's gone. As it is, he was just a burden. Once the divorce is finalized, I'll be free of him, and we can get married." Finn assured the boy and lifted him up in his arms while kissing him and walked towards the bedroom.

August had just reached his place and had parked his car. The four men were also driving the same way. No one knew how Dax had recognized August.

"Mr. Sage, Mr. Sage," He yelled at the top of his voice.

The little bean was just cleared of from the hospital and there was still a little pain in his tummy. But it just showed how much he loved August.

August thought he was hearing things, but it was soon confirmed that the little bean was back to his normal bubbly self.

"Dax," He called out and put down the things he was carrying and knelt down opening his arms for the boy.

The boy ran straight into his arms and wrapped his tiny hands around August's neck.

August held him carefully and then kissed his cheek and shoulder. He was just thinking about the little bean, and now he was in his arms.

"Are you okay? Does your tummy hurt anymore? My strong baby." August asked him and then hugged him back again.

He was completely clueless about the three men watching him.

Soon he turned around and saw the three standing by their cars. He waved to come and called them in.

"Come on, let me show you my new home. And looks like we are quite close to each other. You can ask Daddy or Uncles to drop you here if you want to play." August told the boy as he tried to pick up the bag on the floor.

"We've got this, don't worry." Declan was the first to help him with the bags.

"Okay then, come on in. Make yourselves at home. Have you had dinner yet?" He asked while entering the house.

"Nope, we were just coming back from the hospital." Callahan answered as they each found a spot to sit.

"Call me August, or Sage. Don't mister me anymore. Give me ten minutes, I'll put something together for all of us." August left them and then went in to change.

He quickly took shower and then changed into loose pants and a tank top. His hairs were still wet and water dropped his chest.

"Alright bun, be a good boy for me, and don't trouble your Daddy and Uncles. Okay?" August fake scolded him, but the bean was too happy to be bothered.

He ran and hugged August's thigh and looked up to him. August laughed and all three heads, especially Cal's turned to him.

"Alright come on then. You guys know to cook?" August asked looking at the three and Mase stood up.

"I'll help. Where's the bathroom?" He asked and August pointed to the extra bedroom.

"Go on, all three of you, freshen up. There should be fresh towels up there." August pointed them to the room and then got on with his work.

"Daddy," Dax called and August smiled at him.

"Daddy should be back soon. Be careful, don't move." He kissed his cheek and Dax threw his arms around his neck.

"Alright honey, I need to cook now. I can give you piggy bags later on. Hm?" August asked rubbing the little bean's back.

Dax shook his head and August laughed.

"Okay, hop on." August turned back and Dax got on his back like a koala.

Both got engrossed in their work and when Mase entered the kitchen, this was the sight he walked upon.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked and August passed him the stuff which needed to be cut to keep the knife away.

"Anyone got any allergies I should be aware of?" He asked letting the noodles boil.

"Nope, all good. Can I ask you something? It's a bit personal, you can choose not to answer." Mase explained hurriedly.

"Come on now. You are in my house, in my kitchen, and you still want to be so formal? I thought we all had established a relationship beyond me just being Dax's homeroom teacher and you, his family." August smiled and Dax placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Why, thank you honey." And Dax giggled.

"Would you ever get into a relationship again? I mean, we didn't want to eavesdrop, but you answered the call in front of us and you weren't being discreet about it…" Mase continued and August sighed.

"Five years, Mason. I was in love with him for five years, and so my parents thought it would be great to arrange a marriage between the two families. We got married and had a good time until a year later, I walked onto him balls deep in someone else. I..." August stopped, and took a few breaths.

"I sometimes wonder, why didn't I divorce him back then? But then again, I wasn't how I am now. I was meek and a bit dumb. I kept quiet and didn't say a word. Furthermore, I loved him and I didn't have anyone else besides. Not only that, but I talked to my parents and they asked me to be sensible. So I cut off all contact and relations with them. No family, no friends, I was worse than a street dog. But it didn't stop there. One time..." August's eyes turned red and shook his head.

"I'll spare you the details. I almost went insane with their constant activities, I did think it would be better to die. It continued until now. But then I woke up this morning and decided that it was enough. I can't waste my life. So I asked him for a divorce. About getting into another relationship, I don't know if I can. But I'm so glad that I met you guys. Now I at least have friends." August spoke with a smile.

Dax had his arms rightly around August's neck as if he could sense the pain and discomfort. August nuzzled his head along Dax's cheek, and he heard the giggles again.

"He loves you." Mase pointed out.

"I know, I love him too. I love kids. Maybe, Maybe one day, when I have enough money to spend, I would want to adopt a kid or two." August smiled at him and Mase smiled back.

"Go on, I will get these all out." Mase offered and August thanked him.

Just then August's phone started ringing.

"Cal, can you answer the call for me please?" August requested and Cal gave a nod before answering.

But his face darkened as soon as he did and he looked at August.

"Who is it?" He asked, but Cal handed him the phone and took Dax from him.

"Yes, who's speaking?" August asked but there was no sound at first and then he could hear soft moans and the bitch boy moaning his ex-husband's name.

"You think I care who you fuck anymore? You won't believe, but I have three men over here and if I ask, I might not even have to choose. Fucker. Get a life Finn, and maybe dump that bitch boy. Just hearing his voice makes me nauseous." August snapped and hung up.

He instantly blocked the number and excused himself.

Once he was gone, it was just the three brothers and Dax.

"Daddy, is Mr. Sage sad?" Dax asked with a pout and no one could answer.

"I should've hung up the moment I heard... Fuck!" Cal cursed and his brothers looked at him and then at the bedroom door where August had disappeared.

Five minutes later, August walked out smiling, but even a fool could tell he had cried. His eyes were a bit red.

"Come on, let's eat while the food's hot. Dax, come here honey." And Dax ran into his arms.

"Don't be sad." He spoke with a pout on and his doe eyes looking sad.

"How can I be sad? I've got you now, isn't it?" August kissed his head and lifted him up in his lap, and fed him.

"Tasty?" He asked and Dax nodded.

"Tasty, very tasty." He giggled and August smiled again.

The dinner continued with everyone talking about work, school, and stuff and it didn't seem like they had all met just this morning and it hadn't even been 24 hours.

August fit in just like a missing piece of a puzzle and by the looks of it, the family of four had already accepted him as their own.
