Epilogue
The first time Kim Taehyung saw Jeon Jungkook, he was sipping a lukewarm americano in a half-empty café in Hongdae. It was raining that day. Quiet. Ordinary. And then Jungkook walked in—hood down, wet hair sticking to his forehead, cheeks flushed from the cold.
Taehyung didn’t know his name then. Not yet. But something in his mind shifted, as if the world tilted just slightly on its axis. His eyes followed the boy without hesitation, like instinct. Like fate.
Jungkook didn’t notice him.
But Taehyung never forgot that face.
It took less than a day to find out everything about him—full name, age, university, class schedule, apartment address. People always assumed CEOs like him paid others to do their dirty work. And usually, he did. But not this time.
This was personal.
Now, almost ten months later, Jungkook still had no idea he was being watched.
He still worked part-time at the same café, still carried too many books in his backpack, still bit the corner of his thumb when he was thinking too hard.
Taehyung had watched it all. From a distance.
Until now.

Jeon Jungkook
Taehyung said quietly, the name smooth and full of promise as he leaned back in his office chair, a manila folder open in front of him.
He flipped through it slowly—photos, academic reports, a café schedule, surveillance images no one else should have had.
His assistant stood across the room, still and silent.
kim Taehyung
Offer him the internship
Taehyung said, voice calm.
kim Taehyung
Make it full-paid. A flexible position. Say it’s part of our youth initiative.
Madhav
But, sir… he didn’t apply.
kim Taehyung
I didn’t ask if he applied.
