"When the Sun Forgets"
Darkness had never been silent—not truly.
It breathed in stillness. Whispered through stars. Echoed in the places light refused to touch.
And deep beneath the dying roots of Mount Haldris, in the forgotten core of the world, the Moon God slept. For a thousand years, his body lay in crystalline stasis, silver light pulsing faintly beneath translucent skin, frozen in time like a dream the universe wasn’t ready to remember.
Min Yoongi.
Cursed. Imprisoned. Betrayed.
Sealed by the armies of the light—the Lightborne Legions, who claimed his night brought madness and shadows. Who blamed him for the great cosmic collapse. Who refused to see the truth buried behind starlight and politics.
And above all, the one who hadn’t stopped them—
Jimin, the Sun God.
Or so Yoongi believed.
But gods, like stars, are not so easily destroyed.
---
Far above, in the human world where skyscrapers sliced the clouds and neon bled through midnight, Park Jimin blinked against the morning sun as it poured into his small studio apartment. He rolled out of bed groggy, limbs aching in a way that felt… ancient.
He didn’t know why.
He didn’t know why he dreamed of galaxies. Why he woke with sunbursts in his chest. Why his shadow flickered sometimes when no one stood near. Why fire danced on his skin in his sleep.
He didn’t remember the war.
Or the sister who plunged a blade of obsidian through his heart.
Or how the universe shattered the moment his light was snuffed out.
He only remembered his name: Jimin.
A struggling university student. A barista with too many shifts and too many strange headaches. And lately… too many visions.
Golden cities.
Screaming stars.
A voice. Always a voice calling from the void, calm and cold as moonlight.
> “You left me.”
---
Meanwhile...
In the ruins of the old world, where the borders of the Fairy, Elf, Vampire, and Werewolf realms had begun to blur in violence and blood, the sky split open.
A whisper ran through the Realms.
> “He has awakened.”
The Moon God stirred.
Yoongi opened his eyes in the dark, silver pupils narrowing like knives.
He did not rise to fanfare. There were no horns, no chants of worship. Only stillness and dust, and the slow crack of the seal that had held him.
A voice echoed inside him.
> “The war has begun again.”
Yoongi stood.
He was thinner. Paler. Cold with power that hadn't touched the world in a millennium. But even weakened, his presence made the shadows bow.
He looked at the distant stars bleeding in the sky, the aura of war already creeping into the heavens.
“Let them burn,” he whispered.
---
Back in the human realm, Jimin stood frozen in the middle of the street. Cars honked. Lights blinked red. But he could only stare at the stranger who had appeared across the road like fog.
A man in black.
Eyes silver.
Aura like winter and regret.
Jimin’s chest tightened. Something inside him screamed.
Yoongi, watching him for the first time in a thousand years, didn’t move.
He only murmured, so quietly that even the wind barely heard:
> “You don’t remember me... do you?”
And the sun, reborn and human, simply whispered back:
> “...Who are you?”
