EP 1
CHAPTER ONE : The Note She Never Sang Her silence was survival. But he heard it anyway.
The door slammed open like thunder tearing through a peaceful night.
Serene froze, her fingers pausing over the cracked rim of the teacup in her hands.
She knew that sound. Her heart sank into her stomach as her father's heavy boots dragged across the floor of their crumbling house.
He bellowed, the stink of stale liquor already polluting the air before he entered the room.
She turned slowly, her body stiff with fear. Her oversized hoodie did little to hide the soft bruises fading into her skin like secrets no one cared to hear.
When his bloodshot eyes landed on her face—her innocent, breathless beauty—it only enraged him further.
DAMIEN ELIRA
*Slapped her hardly*
The sharp crack echoed louder than her own heartbeat.
Her cheek stung, but she didn’t cry. She never cried anymore. She simply stood still, unmoving, her lips sealed like always.
DAMIEN ELIRA
You think you’re better than us!?❄️ *said loudly*
DAMIEN ELIRA
With your quite little smirk and your useless goddamn mouth !? ❄️ *said loudly*
She shook her head slowly, eyes lowered, but her silence only fueled his hate.
DAMIEN ELIRA
I asked for food. ❄️ *said Without any expressions*
DAMIEN ELIRA
Where the Hell's dinner ❄️
She opened the rickety cupboard. Empty. Just a cracked plate and a bag of tea leaves.
There was nothing to give.
He sneered, spitting on the floor.
DAMIEN ELIRA
Your mother died birthing a cursed girl. Can’t speak. Can’t sing. Can’t even feed her own father.
She stepped back as he reached for the empty bowl, but it shattered beside her instead. A warning.
Tonight, he didn’t beat her.
Tomorrow, she'd make sure he ate.
The Next Day
Downtown - After Hours Bar
She’d never stepped into a bar before. Not even as a customer. But desperation had a way of breaking rules you thought you’d never bend.
The heels she borrowed pinched her toes. Her dress was second-hand, too tight, and clung to her ribs like her shame. But she walked in anyway, head bowed, hands gripping the edges of her resume she couldn’t even voice.
The moment she stepped into the haze of alcohol and perfume, her shoulder collided with someone hard.
She stumbled, catching herself on a table, eyes wide—then met a pair of eyes that didn’t just look at her… they devoured her.
AERON KNIGHT
Cold. Commanding. Dangerous.
Jet black suit. Silver cuff links. Dark stubble on a jaw built from stone and sin. And his eyes… Grey storms.
He looked at her like he’d been searching for something… and she just happened to walk into his aim.
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
What’s your name? ❄️ *voice like velvet dipped in gunpowder*
She opened her mouth…
Nothing came out.
Not because she was scared.
Because she couldn’t speak
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
I asked you a question !? ❄️ *his gaze darkened, inching toward fury.*
Her throat tightened. She shook her head softly—guilt crawling in her eyes.
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
You're mute !? *he leaned in, close enough to make her breath hitch*
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
Beautiful and silent *he murmured, almost to himself*
Then his hand gripped her wrist.
Tight. Unrelenting.
She panicked. Tried to step back. But he was already lifting her
Like she weighed nothing.
SERENE ELIRA ( FL )
A-Ah ! *She gasped soundlessly, hitting his back with her fists*
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
*didn't flinched*
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
Your disobedience might hurt you, Dove ❄️ *said coldly using the name he'd given her without her permission*
He stepped out of the bar with her in his arms like a storm walking out with stolen sunshine.
AERON KNIGHT ( ML )
Once I’ve heard your silence… I never let it go ❄️
