One week later, the grand doors of the Jeon family mansion opened to the soft scent of jasmine and polished wood. The house was expansive — high ceilings, wide staircases, curated art lining the walls — but it didn’t shout wealth. It whispered legacy. Everything felt intentional. Tasteful. As if the years had shaped not just a home, but a haven. A quiet kind of luxury where power met peace — and where memories settled into every corner like light through sheer curtains.
Daisy stood just inside the entrance, her hands resting nervously at her sides. She looked up once, then down, adjusting her posture.

Jungkook glanced at her with a calm smile. “Relax,” he whispered. “They’re not royalty.”

“They’re your parents,” she murmured back. “That’s worse.”
Soft footsteps interrupted them. A woman appeared from the hallway — elegant in a pale blue cardigan and slacks, her hair tied back, her face composed but gentle.

“Mom,” Jungkook said with a fond warmth. “This is Daisy.”
Her gaze moved to Daisy, observing — not judgmental, just quiet and steady. Then, with a warm smile, she stepped forward and gently held Daisy’s hands.

“I’ve been looking forward to meeting you,” she said, her tone gracious. “You’re even prettier than your photos.”
Daisy
Daisy flushed. “It’s an honor to meet you, ma’—”

The woman smiled again, gently cutting her off. “Call me Mom. Please.”
Daisy
Daisy blinked. That word had weight. Warmth. It didn’t quite fit in her mouth yet, but she nodded. “Okay… Mom.”
Just then, another figure stepped into view — taller, broader, with a calm gravity that filled the room without a single word. Jungkook’s father. His dark blazer was crisp, his posture impeccable, his expression unreadable but not cold.

“Appa,” Jungkook greeted, nodding respectfully. “This is Daisy.”
Mr. Jeon stepped forward, extending a firm, steady hand.
Jeon Aiden
“It’s good to finally meet you,” he said, his voice deep, measured. “We’ve heard about you… from him.” His tone held the faintest flicker of amusement.
Daisy
Daisy shook his hand with a small bow. “It’s really nice to meet you, sir.”
He studied her for a quiet moment, then gave a small approving nod.
They all moved to the living room. The furniture was tasteful — minimalist, with soft gray tones and wooden accents. Tea was served, and conversation flowed slowly, like a river finding its rhythm.
Mrs. Jeon — Mom — led most of the discussion, asking Daisy about her writing, her cooking, her childhood memories. Mr. Jeon mostly observed, occasionally interjecting with short, thoughtful comments that revealed he was listening closely to every word.
At one point, Jungkook excused himself to take a call, leaving Daisy with them.

A brief silence settled over the room before Mr. Jeon spoke again — calm, deliberate. “You carry yourself well.”
Daisy looked over, surprised by the comment.
Jeon Aiden
“Not everyone does, especially under pressure,” he added. “You don’t speak to impress — you speak to be understood. That’s rare.”
Daisy
Daisy’s voice was soft. “Thank you… I just want to be sincere.”
Jeon Aiden
“You are,” he replied, then glanced at his wife with a quiet, knowing smile. “That’s what matters most.”
Jeon Ella
Mrs. Jeon turned to Daisy, voice lower now. “He doesn’t say much, but when he does… he means every word.”
Daisy smiled, her nervousness beginning to fade. She didn’t feel tested — she felt seen.
By the time Jungkook returned, he found all three of them in comfortable conversation, the air easier now.
Later that evening, as he walked her to the car, Daisy glanced back at the glowing windows of the Jeon home.
Daisy
“She told me to call her Mom,” she said softly.
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook smiled. “That’s how she welcomes people.”
Daisy
“Your dad… he’s not very expressive, is he?”
Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook gave a soft laugh. “No. But if he spoke to you that much? That’s his version of a hug.”
Daisy
Daisy chuckled, then turned quiet. “They’re both… strong. But kind.”
Jeon Jungkook
“They are,” he agreed. “And they like you.”
Daisy
She looked up at him. “How do you know?”
Jeon Jungkook
“Because they don’t just invite anyone into their world.” He reached for her hand. “And today, they did.”
As the car pulled away, Daisy looked out the window one last time, watching the warm glow of the house slowly fade into the night. Her heart was steady now — not racing, not uncertain. Just full. She wasn’t just marrying Jungkook. She was stepping into something bigger. Something steady. Something real.
And for the first time in a long time, she knew exactly where she belonged.
