I was still standing on the balcony looking down on the main road. I am sure it was Ragnar in that SUV. He was staring at me for a few seconds when our eyes met, and then he sped off.
I can't take my eyes off that empty spot on the road.

We both settled in bed. But sleep didn't come to me that night. Not that I sleep much at night. Not since that night. Nightmares haunt me every single night from the events that changed my life in a flick of a second.
Nanna even took me to a psychologist for counselling, but it didn't help either.
I am sure it was Ragnar in that car.
Ragnar told me on the phone that I explained my reasons enough to him with what I left him before leaving.
I don't even know what he was talking about. I didn't leave him anything.
Well I wasn't really in the state of leaving anything.
I tried for months to tell him the truth, but he never gave me a chance.
And now! Now I have given up
He has moved on with his life. He has a family. I wouldn't ever come in the way of his happiness. At least one of us is happy.
Lost in my thoughts I finally fell asleep somewhat around 4am.
I was still tossing and turning but at least caught some rest but was woken up to my phone ringing around 7am that morning.

I got off the phone and made myself a coffee. I sat on the balcony having my coffee. It was a calm morning, the sun was out but not too hot yet. Just then, the intercom went off.

Liv and Nina went on to tell me everything and how Ragnar is happy to be by himself.
It kind of excites me but.....
I won't even go there.

But I couldn't help observe this little girl.
Those beautiful gray eyes are just like Ragnar. His were just had a more greenish shade.
And there was something else. She didn't have any eye contact. Wouldn't look at anyone straight in the eye. Wouldn't point to what she wants, instead she was drawing Nina's hands to show her what she wanted from the cake selection. She was more focused on colors in the café rather than other things in her surroundings.
A bunch of girls is talking really loudly a few tables away from us. Kenna was covering her ears from the noise.
We had all settled on a table having coffee, and breakfast. The conversation flowed easy and it was good to catch up with everyone but I continued observing Kenna.

I really think you need to convince Harvey to take her to another pediatrician and get an early diagnosis of autism for her?
If I am correct, she will need occupational and speech therapy to help with her behavior, social skills and speech.
I know Harvey won't let me help, but I can always find other therapists for her to go to.
In the meantime, I will give some Tips to you guys to work with her and see how you go.

Occupational and speech therapists are really scarce and have limited availability. I have been advertising in local media here and also online.
I already have some inquiries before I can here. Once we open Monday, I am going to start making appointments.
Once settled, I will get a receptionist too. I have Jasmin now as well. Added benefit for the kids here to have an OT and speech therapist.
I really hope Ragnar listens to Nina, Ricky

We locked up and went off for some lunch. Ricky dropped me off at home before going back to the clubhouse.
I unpacked my clothes and other belongings. I realized I didn't have enough grocery considering Jasmin is going to be living with me too. I made a list, locked up and went off to the shops. It took me a good two hours to get everything to stock up properly and also, I got some wine for Jasmin and some spirits with soft drinks too. One thing I never bought was beer. I couldn't stand it ever
I got back and opened my door. I took all the bags in and came back to close the door when someone picked me up by my throat and slammed me against the wall.
It took me a few seconds to realise who it was.

I was still frozen in my place not knowing what had just happened.
After a few minutes, I closed the door and managed to walk back to the kitchen island. My head was dizzy from being choked and my head hitting the wall.
I sat for some time to regain my strength and then made some tea.

I settled around the place and got the room cleaned up. Sean had called me earlier to say Jasmin got on the flight without any issues. I got the room ready for her, and put some of my clothes in her wardrobe to get her started. We are going to have to buy more stuff for her
It was now almost 7 pm and my head was killing me. I took, some meds to try and get it under control.
It will be quite late by the time Jasmin will get here so I made sure to save some dinner for her.
I put on a movie to pass my time but my mind kept drifting back to Ragnar. He's always been a hot head but this was just plain bitterness from him.
I might have drifted off but was woken up by the intercom. I checked the watch and it was already 8.45pm. I let Ricky in, left the door unlocked and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
