I got Kenna to bed and was in my room having a drink when there was a knock at the door. I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at all

You need to let him explain himself once to you. It's only right to do so.

And for god's sake, please do not listen to Drake. Every single word that leaves his mouth about Alex is incorrect and pure poison.

Mama looked at me once with pleading eyes and then walked out. No I can't do this. He left me! I was about to tell him I loved him that day. But he left me the night before and left me a note on my bed. I pulled the note out of my bedside drawer. It was crumpled but I never let it go. I burned all his photos that I had but could never let the note go.

How could he do this to me?

There was nothing wrong till that morning. Hell there was nothing till that afternoon. Alex and Liv had a friend's birthday that evening and Pops was taking me and the boys on a run with him that night. I still remember that little red and black dress he wore for the party, minimal make up. He was so excited. Dom had given Alex a surprise by giving Alex her Mama's birthday bracelet that Alex put on straight away with simple earrings. He looked like a Divine.

That was the last time I saw him. The last time I hugged him. The last time I kissed him.

When I came back the next morning, he was gone. Dom was literally looking for him like a mad man with Hulk. Ricky was totally shattered about his brother leaving like this. Liv and Mama were in shock. Pops raised hell looking for him. But Drake? He just sat there looking calm as ever. Drake never really showed any affection to Alex. But this wasn't normal.

As for me, I was just broken.

Why?

That was the only question I was asking myself.

Dom left town with Ricky a few days after Alex disappeared and didn't return for almost 10-15 days

He was a different person when he returned. He never spoke to Drake and basically hated him,

Almost a month later, I had missed calls from a mobile number. When I called back, it was him asking for a chance to explain everything.

But I told him he explained enough to me with the note he left and hung up.

He called. He messaged. But I didn't respond and blocked him...

Everyone tried to convince me, but I didn't listen to them.

I was lost in my thoughts. All I could think about right now was ALEX.

I picked up my SUV keys and left the room. On the way I saw Mama.

I drove around town for a bit and then found myself outside Alex's building. What the hell am I doing here? I shouldn't be here. I need to leave. Yes. That's the right thing to do. I should go home to Kenna.
