(He gently pulls out a chair for her, like a gentleman. She awkwardly sits, blushing as cameras click outside the windows.)

Kang Min-jae

Kang Min-jae
She’ll have the strawberry panna cotta.
And iced vanilla latte. No whipped cream.

(Seo-jin nearly chokes on air. Min-jae just sips his espresso.)

(He gestures to the dessert plate, then casually wipes cream from the corner of her lip with his thumb.)
(Seo-jin short-circuits.)

(A pause. Their eyes meet. Sparks. Silence. Her heart goes THUD.)
