On the podium, Karan and Pihu stand ready to exchange vows.
Ravi stands in the crowd, his heart heavy, eyes fixed on Pihu. Neil stands beside him, trying to offer support, but Ravi is lost in his thoughts.

The guests watch in silence, the sacred steps about to unfold.
They circle the fire. The guests murmur prayers. With each step, the weight of tradition feels heavier to Ravi.

Ravi wants to scream, to stop this, but his body refuses to move. His eyes never leave Pihu.
After the Saat PHERE, the priest prepares for the next ritual.

Now, we move on to the Sindoor ceremony.
The priest hands Karan the small box of red powder, symbolic of the union and the promise of a married life.
Ravi already had enough of this, tries to act, before he can, Neil grabs his arm, pulling him back.

Ravi, stop. You can't do anything now. You need to let her go. It's too late.
Before karan can do the ritual, the doors of the hall swing open with a loud bang.
Everyone turns as man, authoritative enters.
His presence is commanding, and the room falls into stunned silence.

Stop! This wedding cannot happen!
The guests gasp, confused, looking from Karan to Pihu, then to the man.
Ravi's heart jumps as he sees the old man storm toward the podium. His eyes are sharp, filled with anger.

Grandpa...
The grandfather walks up to the podium, his gaze sweeping over Karan and Pihu, then resting on his wife.

*he turns to the crowd, seriously with command*
This marriage cannot happen. Karan, you know the truth. You cannot marry her.
The room filled with stunned silence.

The grandfather grabs Ravi by the arm and pulls him toward the podium, pushing Karan aside.

The ceremony is interrupted.

*unsure of what to do, looks from Ravi to Karan, then to the guests.*

We will proceed. Ravi with stand there. He must declare Pihu as his wife, as tradition demands.
The tension in the room grows thick as Ravi is forced to take his place beside Pihu. The eyes of the entire room are on him.

*she doesn't meet his gaze.*
It feels as if a deep chasm had formed between them.

Now, stand here and make the vows. This is your place.

*stands in the background, unsure of what's happening, clenching his jaw*

*looks uncomfortable, but remains silent*

*can feel the cold distance Pihu's trying to put between them*
Anjali's parents standing on the sidelines, didn't like this at all, as the ceremony continues with Ravi. The ceremony feels empty, Pihu wasn't truly present.

*stands by, knowing this isn't right for Ravi to marry.*
The ceremony ends, the room claps, but Ravi feels no joy because of Pihu who seems like he doesn't want to marry him.
