Nobita’s breathing came in ragged gasps, his body burning with an unbearable heat. His omega instincts screamed at him to choose—choose an alpha to ground him, to help him through the storm overtaking his body.

But how could he?

Dekisugi’s firm hands held his shoulders, his golden eyes dark and steady. “Nobita, you need to decide.”

Shizuka, kneeling beside him, reached for his hand, her expression soft yet determined. “You don’t have to force yourself, Nobita. I’m here.”

His mind spun. The scent of two powerful alphas filled the air, clashing yet intoxicating. His heart pounded, torn between the gentle warmth of Shizuka and the unwavering dominance of Dekisugi.

He couldn’t think straight.

He clutched the bedsheets beneath him, fingers trembling. “I—I don’t know…” His voice was weak, desperate.

Dekisugi’s fingers traced his jaw, tilting his face up. “You don’t need to be afraid,” he murmured, his voice deep and coaxing. “Just follow what your body wants.”

Shizuka pulled him close, pressing her forehead against his. “Or follow what your heart wants,” she whispered.

His body shuddered violently. It was too much. The heat was swallowing him whole.

A strangled whimper escaped his lips. “I can’t… hold it…”

Dekisugi’s arms wrapped around him. “Then let go.”

Shizuka’s grip on his hand tightened. “We won’t let you suffer.”

But that wasn’t the problem.

The problem was that no matter which way he turned, one of them would be left behind.

A tear slipped down his cheek. “I don’t… want to hurt anyone.”

Dekisugi and Shizuka both froze at his words.

Silence filled the room, heavy and suffocating.

Then, Dekisugi sighed, his thumb brushing away Nobita’s tear. “You’re too kind, Nobita.”

Shizuka let out a breath. “That’s why we both—” She stopped, swallowing back whatever she was about to say.

A tense moment passed before Dekisugi finally spoke. “Shizuka.”

She turned to him, her expression unreadable.

“We’re going to break him if we don’t stop.”

Shizuka inhaled sharply, glancing down at Nobita’s trembling form. The truth in Dekisugi’s words stung.

For once, she couldn’t argue.

Nobita was at his limit.

Dekisugi pulled back slightly. “We need to find another way.”

Shizuka’s lips pressed into a thin line before she slowly nodded.

Nobita barely registered their words before his body finally gave in, exhaustion dragging him under.

The last thing he heard was Dekisugi’s voice, softer than ever.

“Rest, Nobita. We’ll figure this out.”

And then—darkness.
