Nobita’s breath hitched. The way Shizuka was standing in front of him, her stance protective yet intimidating, sent a shiver down his spine.

“Shizuka…?” he whispered.

“Nobita, come with me.” Her voice was firm, but there was an underlying softness, a hidden desperation.

Dekisugi, however, didn’t move. His sharp gaze remained locked onto Nobita, his usual composed expression now filled with something Nobita had never seen before—possession.

“I don’t think that’s necessary, Shizuka,” Dekisugi said calmly, but his voice carried weight. “You can smell it too, can’t you?”

Shizuka clenched her fists. “That doesn’t matter.”

“It does,” Dekisugi took a step closer. “He’s in pre-heat. He needs to be somewhere safe, not out in the open where any alpha could catch his scent.”

“I can take care of him,” Shizuka snapped.

Dekisugi let out a small chuckle, but there was no amusement in his voice. “Are you saying that as a friend, or as an alpha who’s been holding back her own feelings?”

Shizuka’s expression darkened.

Nobita felt like the air was suffocating him. His body was getting weaker by the second, the warmth pooling in his stomach spreading dangerously fast. He had never experienced this before—this overwhelming need clawing at his very being.

“D-Don’t fight…” Nobita’s voice trembled.

Immediately, Dekisugi’s gaze softened. “Nobita.”

Shizuka also turned to him, concern replacing the anger in her eyes. “We need to get you out of here.”

But before either of them could make a move, Nobita’s knees buckled. His vision blurred, and the last thing he saw was Dekisugi’s strong arms catching him as darkness swallowed him whole.
