A Brother’s Warning
Jungkook barely had time to brace himself before Jin grabbed his collar and slammed him against the car.
Lee jin
"Are you out of your goddamn mind?!" Jin seethed, his face inches from Jungkook’s. "You just signed a deal with the devil!"
Justin
Jungkook exhaled sharply, gripping Jin’s wrist. "Let go."
Lee jin
Jin’s jaw clenched, his hold tightening. "Tell me I’m wrong. Tell me you don’t know exactly what you just got yourself into."
Jungkook stayed silent.
Because he did know. V was dangerous. A monster in a suit. The man had built an empire on blood and power—stepping into his world meant there was no way out.
But Jungkook had spent his entire life searching for answers. If V held the key to his past, he couldn’t walk away.
Jin must have seen the resolve in his eyes because his grip faltered, his expression shifting from anger to something far worse—disappointment.
Lee jin
"You don’t have to do this," Jin said, his voice lower now, almost pleading. "We can find another way."
Justin
Jungkook swallowed hard. "There is no other way."
A bitter scoff left Jin’s lips. He let go of Jungkook and ran a frustrated hand through his hair.
Lee jin
"You don’t get it," he muttered. "V doesn’t do favors, Jungkook. Everything comes at a price."
Lee jin
Jin turned back to face him, eyes burning with concern. "Then why are you still going through with this?"
Justin
Jungkook hesitated, then exhaled. "Because I need the truth."
Lee jin
Jin stared at him for a long moment before shaking his head. "That bastard is going to ruin you."
A smooth voice interrupted.
kim v
If you two are done with your lover’s quarrel, I’d like to get moving."
Jungkook turned to see V leaning against the car, arms crossed, amusement playing at the corners of his lips.
Lee jin
Jin glared. "He’s not your pawn, Kim."
kim v
smirked. "Oh, I think he is. He just doesn’t know it yet."
Jin took a threatening step forward, but Jungkook grabbed his arm, stopping him.
Lee jin
Jin looked at him with disbelief. "You’re seriously choosing him over me?"
Justin
Jungkook’s heart twisted at the words. "It’s not about that."
Lee jin
Then what is it about, Jungkook?" Jin demanded. "Revenge? Closure? Whatever it is, it’s not worth selling your soul to Kim Taehyung."
Justin
Jungkook clenched his jaw. "It’s my choice."
Lee jin
Jin shook his head in frustration, his voice laced with hurt. "Then don’t expect me to stand by and watch you destroy yourself
Jungkook felt something crack inside him. He hated this. Hated that Jin didn’t understand.
kim v
V stepped closer, eyes flickering between the two of them before settling on Jin. "I suggest you walk away now, Jin. Before things get messy."
Lee jin
Jin’s hands curled into fists. "If you hurt him, I will kill you myself."
kim v
V smirked, clearly entertained. "Duly noted."
Jin turned back to Jungkook one last time, his gaze heavy with disappointment.
Lee jin
"Don’t come crying to me when he betrays you," he muttered before stepping away.
Jungkook watched as Jin disappeared into the night, the weight of his words pressing down on him.
kim v
V, standing beside him, sighed dramatically. "Well, that was emotional. Ready to get to work?"
Justin
Jungkook turned to him, expression cold. "Just tell me what the job is."
kim v
V’s smirk returned, slow and deadly.
"Patience, sweetheart. We’ll start with something fun."
