Kings of Ruin
The night in the mall is never silent. Screams, gunfire, the echoes of desperate fights. But on the third floor—it’s different.
Shivay sits on a throne made of scavenged metal and wood, his people kneeling before him. Not out of fear, but respect. He gave them food, protection… and a reason to fight.
Survivor
“Another group is trying to take the second floor. What should we do?”
Shivay leans forward, smirking.
He stands, cracking his knuckles. The air around him shifts—the invisible force returning.
shivay
(murmuring): “Time to remind them who rules here.”
Dev moves through the dark corridors, faster than any human should be. His body blurs, his knife a flash of silver.
A group of scavengers spots him, raising their weapons—but they’re too slow. Dev is behind them before they even register movement.
A single cut. Three bodies drop.
Dev
(grinning): “You should’ve run when you had the chance.”
Ashi watches from a distance, her fists clenched. This isn’t the Dev she knew. But neither is she the same person anymore.
She lifts her hands—energy crackles at her fingertips. Healing and destruction, all in her grasp. She doesn’t know where it came from… but she knows she’ll use it.
Saniya walks through the empty streets of Abhii’s growing fortress. Massive buildings, reinforced steel, layers of defenses. Yet… no people. Just silence.
saniya
(mocking tone): “A kingdom without subjects? What’s the point?”
Abhii doesn’t answer. He stands on the balcony, staring at the horizon. At the ruins beyond his hidden city.
Then, a voice—soft, familiar, but inhuman.
System
(appearing beside him, her form glowing faintly): “The world is watching you, Abhii.”
Saniya stiffens. She turns—and her breath catches.
The woman standing beside Abhii isn’t normal. Her skin glows like gold under the fading sun, her eyes sparkle like cut diamonds. She is breathtaking—inhumanly beautiful.
saniya
(whispering, frowning): “Who… the hell is she?”
For the first time, jealousy burns inside her. Not because she loves Abhii. But because he finally looks at someone.
Abhii doesn’t react. He stares ahead, his face emotionless.
Abhiii
(calmly): “Let them watch.”
Saniya crosses her arms, frustration creeping into her voice.
saniya
“What the hell are you planning?”
Abhii finally turns to her, his eyes cold.
[Scene: The Mall – Shivay’s Rule Strengthens]
Blood stains the floor. The rival group lies in pieces. Shivay stands in the center, unfazed.
The survivors stare at him in awe, fear, respect.
Alan
(whispering): “He’s not human…”
Shivay smirks, stepping forward.
shivay
(quietly): “I never said I was.”
Above them, lightning flashes. A storm is coming.
One king builds in the shadows. The other rules through blood. But in the ruins, something else is watching.
Waiting for the right moment.
