Betrayal in the Dark
[Scene: Late Night – Inside the Safe Territory]
The camp is quiet, but a storm brews in the shadows. A figure moves between the buildings, avoiding the patrols. Their hands grip a stolen weapon, their eyes filled with something darker than fear—intent. The first betrayal has begun.
[Scene: Abhii’s Room]
Abhii sits in his chair, eyes flickering between different camera feeds displayed in the air. His new ability lets him monitor the entire territory without stepping outside.
But something doesn’t feel right.
System
"Unauthorized movement detected near the armory."
His fingers tighten on the chair’s arms. He switches the feed and sees a shadowy figure sneaking toward the storage area.
Abhiii
"Who the hell are you?"
[Scene: Watchtower – Pihu & Shivay]
Pihu and Shivay are on night watch. The air is cool, but tension lingers from the fight earlier.
pihu
(teasing): "So, are you still mad about losing to Arjun?"
pihu
"Right. You just… fell harder."
Shivay glares at her, but a small smile tugs at his lips. Before he can reply, Pihu suddenly tenses.
pihu
(whispering): "Did you hear that?"
They both freeze. Footsteps. Slow, deliberate, near the supply area.
Ashi is doing inventory when she hears the door creak open. She turns, expecting one of their own—but what she sees makes her heart stop.
ashi
(whispering in shock): "You?"
The figure steps forward, holding a weapon. Their face is no longer familiar—it’s cold, determined.

(softly, almost regretfully): "Sorry, Ashi. But it’s time for a change."
Then, they pull the trigger.
A gunshot echoes through the night.
The shot rings through the camp. Alarms blare, people shout, and Abhii is already on his feet. He doesn’t need the cameras anymore—he knows exactly where the problem is.
Abhiii
"Everyone, get to the storage area! Now!"
Shivay and Pihu are already running, weapons drawn. Dev storms out of his tent, rage in his eyes. The new group’s leader watches from a distance, unreadable.
By the time they reach the storage area, Ashi is on the ground, bleeding. The betrayer is gone.
Dev
(shouting): "Find them! NOW!"
Pihu drops to Ashi’s side, pressing against the wound.
pihu
"You’re okay. You’re gonna be okay!"
ashi
(weakly, trying to smile): "Damn… didn’t think I’d get shot before a date."
shivay
(to Abhii, voice dark): "This was an inside job."
Abhii’s hands clench into fists. He already knew that. But the question was—who? And why?
Outside the camp, a figure runs into the darkness, disappearing beyond the borders. But they’re not alone. In the distance, something waits for them. Something monstrous.
A low growl echoes in the night… and then silence.
