Survive or Be Consumed
Shivay stands at the entrance of the massive mall, his eyes scanning the chaos inside. Bloodstains, shattered glass, flickering lights. This isn't a shelter. It’s a battlefield.
ashi
(whispering): “This place… it’s worse than we thought.”
Dev
(gritting his teeth): “We don’t have a choice. Either we take control or we become their next meal.”
The man they saved earlier leads them cautiously inside
Alan
“The upper floors belong to the worst of them—the ones who kill for fun. Stay on the ground floor too long, you’re already dead.”
Shivay barely listens. His mind is elsewhere—burning with rage. Pihu's death. Arjun’s death. Abhii’s silence. His fists tighten.
A gang of armed men steps in their path, faces scarred and dirty.
gangster
“Newcomers? You’ve got supplies. That means you pay the toll.”
Dev smirks, stepping forward.
Before the man can react, Dev punches him in the throat, dropping him instantly. Shivay doesn’t hesitate—he grabs another by the neck and slams his head into the wall. Blood splatters. The others freeze.
shivay
“We don’t pay. We take.”
The remaining thugs run. The ones who don’t—die. Ashi watches, shaken.
ashi
(softly): “Shivay… you’re—”
shivay
(without looking at her): “This is how we survive now.”
Shivay, Dev, and Ashi quickly realize the mall is a warzone. The top floors are controlled by someone unknown. But first, they need their own space.
For three days, they fight. They kill. They take the third floor. But Shivay isn’t satisfied.
shivay
(to Dev): “We don’t stop here. We take everything.”
Dev
(grinning): “Now you’re talking.”
Ashi watches them. Shivay is changing. He’s no longer just surviving. He’s hunting. And she isn’t sure if that’s a good thing.
Saniya sits on the rooftop, watching Abhii work alone. The city is changing. Stronger walls. Hidden weapons. It’s no longer a place for the weak.
saniya
(mocking): “So? What’s the plan, King Abhii? Gonna rule over an empty kingdom?”
Abhii doesn’t look at her.
Abhiii
(coldly): “Stay quiet, Saniya.”
She smirks. He didn’t push her away. That’s enough for now.
Back in the mall, Shivay stands at the top of a bloodstained staircase, looking down at the survivors below. His eyes are dark, unreadable.
shivay
(muttering): “If Abhii won’t rule… I will.”
But in the darkness, something else watches him. Something worse than human monsters.
