And sometimes, as much as he loves his best friend, he truly wished he could’ve grew a back bone and say ‘no’ to him.
Because not everything Jimin says, or does, makes him comfortable;
Like this moment, being alone in an unfamiliar place and setting.
And Jimin being his only friend in life, he knew why Jungkook didn’t want to go.
He knows why—But Jungkook also knows that Jimin cares for him, loves him and only wants the best.
Jungkook knows he dragged the younger out because he hasn’t ever stepped outside, other than going to classes or getting food—
Jimin wanted him to live again, but Jungkook finds that a bit hard to do.
He does go to find the bathroom. Once he was done, he comes back to the living room where he last had seen his best friend, only for said best friend to be totally gone.
So, he hovers in the same area where the drinks are, a foldable table in front of the island in the kitchen.
He had back against the counter—where it isn’t occupied with a body pressed against it and another body against the body being pressed into the counter.
He just watches everyone, live.
Apparently what he’s been doing isn’t living, but partying and getting waste was?
Someone
Oh. Jungkook, haven’t seen you party in a while
Someone says in passing him.
A person he doesn’t remember the name which belonged to them but knows, they were a part of his past.
An old peer that was then, someone to him. Not anymore though.
He just gives the person a forced smile, tight lipped with uninterested eyes before he looks away
And he hopes the other takes it as a sign to leave Jungkook alone. Which thankfully the man did understand.
