EPISODE 13

CONTINUATION OF THE PREVIOUS EPISODE

As Layla worked to disable the guards, Silas made his move. He charged towards Rachel, his eyes locked onto hers.

But just as he was about to reach her, the lights in the room flickered and died. The sound of gunfire echoed through the room, and Silas felt a bullet whizz past his ear.

He hit the ground, his heart racing with adrenaline. He knew that Rachel had set a trap for him, and he had walked right into it.

As he looked around, trying to get his bearings, Silas saw Layla crawling towards him. "Silas, are you okay?" she whispered.

Silas nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "We need to get out of here," he said. "Now."

Layla nodded, and together they crawled towards the door. But as they reached it, Silas realized that it was blocked.

Rachel's laughter echoed through the room, and Silas knew that they were trapped.

"You'll never leave this place alive," Rachel said, her voice dripping with malice.

Silas's eyes narrowed. He knew that they had to think fast, or they would be killed.

But as he looked around, trying to come up with a plan, Silas saw something that made his blood run cold.

Layla was gone.

Silas's eyes frantically scanned the room, but there was no sign of Layla. He felt a surge of panic and adrenaline, and he knew that he had to act fast.

"Rachel, where is she?" Silas demanded, his voice low and menacing.

Rachel's laughter echoed through the room again. "You'll never find her," she said, her voice dripping with malice.

Silas's eyes narrowed. He knew that he had to think fast, or he would never see Layla again. He quickly scanned the room, looking for any clues or any way out.

That's when he saw it - a small ventilation shaft in the wall, partially hidden by a nearby crate. Silas knew that it was their only chance.

Without hesitation, Silas sprinted towards the ventilation shaft, his heart pounding in his chest. He climbed inside, his eyes adjusting to the darkness.

As he crawled through the shaft, Silas could hear Rachel's laughter echoing through the room, growing fainter with each passing moment. He knew that he had to keep moving, no matter what.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Silas saw a glimmer of light ahead. He crawled towards it, his heart racing with excitement.

As he emerged from the ventilation shaft, Silas found himself in a cramped, dimly lit room. And there, in the corner of the room, was Layla.

She was bound and gagged, but otherwise unharmed. Silas's heart swelled with relief as he rushed towards her, quickly freeing her from her restraints.

"Layla, are you okay?" Silas asked, his voice shaking with emotion.

Layla nodded, her eyes wide with fear. "Y-yes," she stammered. "I'm okay."

Silas's eyes locked onto Layla's, his heart filled with determination. "We're getting out of here," he said. "Now."

But as they turned to leave, Silas heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the hallway. Heavy, deliberate footsteps, growing louder with each passing moment.

Silas's eyes narrowed. He knew that they weren't out of danger yet. Not by a long shot.
